"Pri, Pri! Let's go; it's time for class!"

"Pri, can you hear me?!?!"

Her roommate, Trinetha, shook out Priya from her current state. Did she zone out? Or was she contemplating how she was going to handle the quiz next hour? Trinetha knew better than to ask these questions, for this wasn't the first time she found Priya spaced out.

Priya absentmindedly gathered herself and went through the motions of picking her books and getting ready to walk out the door. The minute they encountered other students, she quickly put on a polite smile. Trinetha, albeit silent, was carefully watching and found herself in awe of her roommate's ability to compose herself quickly. Everyone else in the university was unaware of all that haunted Priya when she was with herself. 

In class, she spoke when she was told, called upon by the professors. She was always known as the shy girl in the second row who kept to herself and had one friend - Trinetha. She hid her true self in every form and let those around her, mould who she was at that moment. She couldn't bear the pain of her own thoughts, her identity.

However, Trinetha's memories were a little different. She found herself recollecting the last time she saw Priya be herself, three years ago.

"Trinetha!!! Let's goooooo! WEEKEND IS HERE! LET'S GO MEET OUR FRIENDS!!!"

Priya was known as the life of the party, the ultimate social butterfly of the gang who could strike a conversation and connect with anyone! Trinetha hated being dragged to parties but still went since she enjoyed the company of her best friend. How the times have changed!

Will Priya finally started facing all that she lost? The gravity of the tragedy? Trinetha was only hoping to be there to support her, in whatever way she could.
