Joe's job as an apprentice at the Binge Basket needed him to be at the stands.

"Can I help you find something ma'am?" he offered to the elderly lady who seemed to be having difficulty searching something from the lower racks.

"Ah! Yes boy! Can you help me have a pack of Papadums? Spicy ones I want."

"Sure ma'am. They seemed to have finished here. I'll reload them from the store".

Joe disappeared behind the stands and as he was returning, he noticed a small boy, around 7 yrs old. He picked up a packet of green 'Lays' chips, and helped himself to it.

"Hey little one! You need to pay for this packet" Joe almost ran shouting out towards him. But soon remembering his training ethics, composed himself. "We cannot displease ANY customer" he reminded himself.

It was a big relief to see the boy linger near that old 'papadum' lady.

At times he gulped a candy or two. Joe noted.

Like any dutiful sales boy, he duly reported his observations to the cashier. "watch out when that silver haired granny comes over. Her grandson has stomached a pack of green Lays and four orange candies."

Both nodded approvingly as granny reached the cash counter, the boy tagging on like a shadow.

"Your grandson loves chips and candies" said the cashier.

"Ah! Yes! He loves a lot of them"

"He is very fond of you too, and follows you everywhere."

"Yes! It's difficult to shop with him."

Just then the little boy picked up a mentos roll from right under the cashier's nose and barged out the store.

"He is very smart." comments the cashier.

"Ah! Yes!! He is an angel." granny spoke, her one hand on her heart.

"You will find it difficult to fetch him now."

"No! Why? He would still be asleep at home." The old woman seemed surprised.

"I'm talking about this one."

"Which one?"

"The one that just ran out."

"Ran out? That's not my grandson. I don't even know that boy!!"
