His fingers trembled as he struggled to hold the pen firm. He was signing away his most precious belongings, the custody of his two children to his now divorced wife.

She had been faithful all the time, it was he who had strayed. Many late nights, few young colleagues, one harassment case and he had lost them both, his home and his office.

The past few months had been taxing, signing papers and more papers. His mansion was gone, so was his Mercedes. His future was a small flat, smaller vehicle, job search and alimony.

His lawyer moved closer and whispered," You can end this you know. Sue her for infidelity, we can prove it somehow. I have influence. Her outbursts can be framed against her. Declare that the kids are not yours, malign her. She wouldn't want the children or herself to be publicly humiliated, so she would let go off the alimony and maintenance. "

He beamed at the lawyer," That's brilliant. But it would cost me extra and I don't have the source to pay you more. I have sold everything I had. And I refuse to sell my Soul."
