I adjusted my tie, cleared my throat and started, "Hello... it feels so weird. Like it just seems too informal, even disrespectful when addressing 'God' with a Hello. I don't know what noble thing I did to get an interview with you. I'm just so obliged to do this.' He smiled, "Hang on my dear friend. Let's cut all the formality right here. You don't know me, I don't know you. So let's talk like two sensible beings."

Confused, I asked, "Umm...you don't know me? I mean you made me right?"

He replied, "Of course not. I just made a lovely couple a short time back in my garden. I mean if I simply could, then why shouldn't I? I didn't plan so far ahead. Yet wheels turn and here you're. Therefore, technically they made you, not me."

Clearing my throat, I said, "Okay. That's some hard pill to swallow. So whose 'will' governs our life? Is it yours?"

He chuckled softly, "Dude trust me, I've got lots of better things to do with my time. I just don't want to govern anyone's life. Why should I? It's your actions that decide the consequences paired up with random, sheer probability that you call luck. Other things are simply psychological fantasies."

Agitated, I asked, "So there's no heaven and hell? No afterlife? No reward or punishment?"

With a grin, he said, "I didn't say that. It's just not the way you may have imagined it. No burning inferno or floating paradise with angels. Guilt is Hell and Satisfaction is Heaven. Both are experienced in this very life, not after your death. Glory is Afterlife. You remain eternal in memories, nowhere else. Death is the reward and Death is also the punishment. Just a matter of perspective."

Taken aback, I exclaimed, "Whoa, that was some deep stuff. Forgive me. So what's the purpose of life? Like isn't there a greater good to serve?"

Shaking his head, he sighed, "If the good is 'greater' it doesn't needs your servitude. The only purpose of life is to simply live. Stop fooling around to find a deeper meaning of things to feel validated. Guys, no one's THAT important."

I felt attacked. My ego was injured. Everything that my mind had made up to make me feel important and special since the very beginning was now demolished in seconds.

I asked him ,"What's sin? What isn't?"

He replied, "Anything that you can do and resultantly cannot face yourself in the mirror afterwards, is a sin. Perhaps the deed can be inconsequential. Perhaps you're just a barbaric creature without conscience. Doesn't matter. If you can live with yourself after doing something and it doesn't evokes your guilt, it's no sin. No guilt, no Hell."

I took a sip from the glass of water on the table. Ruffling my hair, I continued," I have some doubts about devotion. How much is exactly helpful and how much is superstition?

Are really atheists fated to doom? "

God sniggered and said, "So now you accuse me of favouritism. I'm far above from flattery and grudges. You all keep doing this if it makes you feel better, but honestly I simply don't care. Neither are those the apple of my eyes who pray before each meal, nor am I going to avenge those who call my existence mere farce."

I immediately interrupted with excitement, "On the question of your existence, why are you so shy to establish your presence. Help us, let science find some proofs, let us be acquainted with your miracles. What's the issue?"

He looked straight in my eye and said, "I just want to know why you guys think yourself capable enough to understand and perceive right now everything that can exist? Maybe I do have a scientific explanation but your species is dumb and naive, generations away to find the truth. Have you considered the possibility of relentless trying to get to the truth instead of announcing this matter as impossible? I mean even right now I'm a mere character written by a dumb guy who calls himself a FANTASY writer."

My mind was spinning. Finally I asked, "My last question is about Satan, who is he?"

He took a deep breath and said, "He was also one of my creations. He turned out to be different. Really different. I still don't know where he is, honestly I'm not even bothered. Wherever he is, I just know he's amidst you all. I wish I was so engrossed in you humans as he is. He makes sure you remember him the way he wants you to do. So many years on this planet, he needs someone to help him stay sharp and occupied. You all keep him entertained, be assured. He stole my favourite weapon from me in the last days though, I just wish I could get it back. He is quite good with it, you know. You guys have a word for it, ummm, yeah, 'Manipulation'. That's it. Thank you. Hope you guys won't need another interview soon."

He stood up and simply disappeared into the oblivion.
