The Fight With My Mind

A child was writing his homework and suddenly heard a strange voice. "Hey, make number 6 slightly darker" and the child suddenly looks around himself and in confusion, he goes to his mother and while starting his words, he sees his mother scolding his father for blabbering in tension about his job. The child fears that all will mock him when he tells what happened to him.

Shankar Das gets up from the bed due to the dream because that is his childhood incident and gets up from the bed to drink some water and look at the watch, the hour hand stood at 5 and minute hands at 10.

Shankar Das was working in h and z IT company and that morning gearing up for the success party for the project completion. The party ended well and that branch's manager Hardy congratulated Shankar Das for his hard work in that project. Meanwhile, Santhosh stood alone at the other side eating his pizza and his thoughts fuming with jealousy and he left the meeting informing the manager. The manager informed that their new project work will be started tomorrow and all should work well to finish the project.

Shankar Das went to his home and had a nice sleep. Next day, Shankar started his work in the office and also started working for the project at home also. That week, he started working without rest on the project at home and thought, " I should finish the work faster" and got a headache.

That night, he tried to sleep and he heard a voice, "Hello Shankar, leave the job and do not make yourself suffer".

This voice repeated and he started searching for the person who spoke and his anger level reached the maximum.

He shouted, "Ahh...ahh...ahh...I will hit you, stop saying that."

Shankar saw a person sitting on the chair and asked: "who are you?"

The fellow on chair replied, "It is my voice you heard all these days."

Shankar took another chair and tried to throw at him.

That fellow moved away from that place and replied,

"I have got a boon from God that you cannot destroy me.

destroying me is equivalent to destroying yourself."

Shankar asked" "what is your name?" and that fellow replied, "my name is Vijay".

Vijay's voice started dominating Shankar and suggested negative thoughts for every positive thought Shankar thought. Shankar submitted the project amidst the problems mentally he faced. The manager called Shankar and in the manager's cabin, others discussed heavily about the project. Shankar wore his cooling glass and was listening to natural sounds recorded in his phones using headphones as it reduced his stress ,negative thoughts and negative suggestions also reduced. He sat on the reception and after some time was called in. Shankar removed his headphones. The manager started scolding Shankar for the wrong coding he did in the project and told him to take some break from the job and send him out.

Santhosh standing along with his friends started teasing that cooling glass wearing hero couldn't see the coding in his system and started teasing about him. Shankar's anger reached the peak and with his hand's nerves held tight, he gave a fist hit to Santhosh. Santhosh's friends stepped back. The manager gave a black mark on Shankar's profile that he is mentally unstable and throws it at him.

Shankar starts to take treatment from psychotherapist Mr Ram. His treatment was going good and the doctor said, you have a automatic negative thoughts problem and  "Shankar you must fight those negative thoughts and do not give up the confidence, change every negative thought into a positive thought."

Shankar started using these days to visit holy places and places that made his mind calm like the river where he swam in the morning and trekking that made him confident. He learned that nature is the best medicine that can cure the mind related problems.

After trekking for several days, that late night he visited the open gym in his area and sat there to take some rest. A girl stood there waiting for her father but her father is admitted in the hospital. A set of goons came there and started teasing the girl and they see Shankar sitting with cooling glass and headphones, they come close to him and they remove his headphones. 

Shankar started chanting, I will try my best to stay calm.  They start teasing him and Shankar closes his eyes and when he opens his eyes, he sees Vijay sitting on that goon's car. Shankar's anger level reached the peak and he sees one goon trying to hold the hand of the girl. Shankar hits the goon sitting next to him. The other goons see him removing his cooling glass puts it in his shirt and started folding his shirt's sleeves.

The girl starts running and Shankar starts hitting the goons while one goon cuts the girl's hand. Shankar looking at this takes his kerchief from his pocket and runs to the girl and ties the wound hard with a kerchief. Shankar looks at the car with all the goons sitting in it and Vijay smiles at Shankar. Shankar stares at Vijay but holds that girl and takes her to hospital. Shankar hears Vijay's voice. Meet you soon ...

The injured goons meet their boss Senthil who is with another guy Raj. Senthil asks what happened boys and they say what happened with Shankar. One goon gives the Id card of Shankar that had fallen down when Shankar takes the kerchief from the pocket. Senthil sees Raj standing by the side and says this is Shankar, my friend. Raj says he is accused by Jivi, his wife for cheating her in married life. "Yes, I forged the evidence of the marriage with her. However, she finds this and files a case against me. The two pieces of evidence she has are her child and another one, the register marriage witness Shankar Das." Senthil tells his goons to kidnap the child of Jivi and to carefully kidnap Shankar.

Next day, Shankar goes to his regular yoga class centre situated next to a child specialist hospital. Shankar finishes his class and gets to the juice stall down to the centre. Jivi who took her child to that child specialist hospital finishes the treatment, sees the goons waiting with her photo and child photo, and in fear, she gets into the temple. Shankar finishes his cup of juice and goes to the temple and Jivi not noticing Shankar's face hands over the child to Shankar and says please hold for some time.

The goons notice Jivi and starts running towards her. She knows her child's life matter and she runs. Shankar waits for another one hour but Jivi couldn't return there. Shankar thinks to hand over the child to someone but in thought that Jivi could return any time, he waits for one more hour. But she did not come. Shankar thought of his friend Esther and her husband working in a non-governmental organisation.

He took the child to her house and felt playing with that child reduced his stress.

Jivi's thoughts travelled back to the court's order to take a DNA test to prove the truth.

One day Shankar goes to a hotel and Jivi too comes to the same hotel. Goons reach the place with the help of their informer. Jivi sees them and runs to the marriage hall. Shankar sees the goons, he hits that day, chasing a girl not knowing it is Jivi. He goes there and starts the fight. After the fight, he sees that girl, not knowing she is Jivi taken by Vijay, the image that tortured him. Shankar gives a chase but he could not reach Vijay.

When Shankar goes to Esther's house, he sees Jivi and her child. Jivi and Shankar understand without seeing each other's face, Jivi gave the child to Shankar without seeing his face and Shankar without seeing Jivi got the child from her. Jivi explains the case and Shankar's face change as he comes to know the dark side of his friend.

In the hospital, DNA test gets taken and the test proves that Jivi told the truth and the punishment was given by the court to Raj along with Senthil and his goons.

Shankar sees Vijay walking into the court and Shankar runs towards him to beat him. Esther and Jivi stop him. Esther explains, "he is my husband Kevin." Shankar Das understands his mind gave an image to the voice he heard. The image that his mind created and the image of Kevin is similar. Jivi tells it was Kevin who helped her get the job in a company and helped her from the hotel that day. Shankar Das apologises to Kevin.

After some years, Shankar's treatment gets over. He walks into his old company h and z with cooling glass and headphones. He sees his imaginary voice and image Vijay saying the positive words, "I said you cannot destroy me but you changed me and that's the success you have got."

Shankar Das smiles and enters into his cabin.

Change every negative thought into positive thought and surely you will be energised positively.
