THE EVIL’S PLAN

“Life is simple, but we humans make the pimple. We scratch so hard to destroy the innocent so that they get into the dark spot. A person who has true wisdom also gets trapped with the evil, not because the innocent is evil, but because the evil acts so wisely to hack the innocent's life. When a person does not want to change his evil thoughts, in spite of we trying to make the person better, than the person should just be separated from our lives. There will chaos, it will be difficult but trying should be worth, and if the earth quakes again and again than all hopes should be kept on the Holy One. And the innocent wins when the eyes are open, or when the eyes are closed, coz God knows what is good for us.”

      

 Through this truth of life‘s route lived a pretty Brahmin Catholic girl named Tasha in the capital city of Goa, Panaji. She always thought about her family. She always thought life should be lead with truth and care for each other. Her thoughts were wise. She and her family lived a good life, but the evil did rise on that perfect dice.

10 years earlier…

     

  Every night while keeping the head on the pillow she flowed through thoughts and thoughts of worries. So she taught to have a glance at her mobile. While opening the gallery on her mobile section her finger scrolls down by mistake and opens a video which keeps her stunned.

      

 Happiness comes when happiness is surrounded around. She lives with her mom and dad and her elder brother. She always dreamt of being a model. But due to her family income issues she started to work soon after higher school. She does evening shift to late night shift at a call center near her place. Her father would always come to pick her after work. But that day he was ill and so she advised her father not to come to pick her after work. That night after call center, she and her friend cum neighbour Zilia while going home, see that someone has stopped a car besides them to give them a lift. She and her friend ignore and start to walk. But as they walk the car rides with them. They try not to be scared. They can't see the person inside, since the car windows were up and had dark filming. But she warns the person from outside to better back off. The person comes out and kisses Tasha hard. And gets in the car and escapes. Bold Tasha was shivering and became numb, when he tried to kiss her. After he goes, she falls down shivering and thinking on her knees. Zilia leaves her and runs in scare.

      

 Tasha reaches home. Her mom opens the door. She tries not to show her sadness. But, as we all know our supermoms can read our faces and minds like an immense caring miracle. She asks her, What happen Tasha?, you look sad. She answers, Ahh! Nothing momma just a bit stressed out. You know na momma, these call center jobs, they make you pale by going blah blah on the phone all the time. Her mom Laughs, My funny girl. Tasha laughs, My cute momma! Okay momma, I am going in my room, See you tomorrow, Good night momma. Her mom replies, Good night Tasha. Tasha with emotions falls on her bed and cries. That night she felt a night of dark hell. Many bad thoughts arrived in her mind. But she ignored all, because she always follows life like a tough rock. Repetition of flashbacks makes way to a distressed sleep. Her mom, comes to see her because she still does not feel Tasha’s reason satisfying and so she sees her without changing her clothes sleeping on the bed, as she had never done this before. She also sees tears flowing from her eyes. And feels depressed. She wanted to wake her up and ask but she wants her to relax, after tiredness of work or whatsoever may be the reason. She remembers her friend and calls her but her mobile comes switched off.

     

  Next morning, her friend Zilia comes to her house and tells her family about yesterday’s incident. Tasha while coming downstairs from her room hears it and flows with tears in her eyes. Her father scolds her and asks her whether it is the truth. Tasha runs in with tears and locks the door. Her parents go upstairs and knock the door. Tasha opens the door, seeing packed bags in her hand, her mom slaps her and warns her that from today she will stay in the room only. Her mother locks the room. Zilia her friend sends her an apology sms. Tasha switches off her phone and rests. Day passes by, at night while lying down on the bed and having a glance at her gallery in her mobile she sees that the person who had kissed was a ghost. She rubs her eyes, restarts the phone but it shows the same video. She feels she has gone mad and switches off her phone and sleeps. Late night, her mom comes with food, seeing Tasha in a deep sleep she tries not to disturb, but thinking off the incident that happened with her she throws water on her face. Tasha shouts, What the hell? Mom replies, Yes you hell have your food. Tasha replies, Oh, momma sorry. Her mom leaves the room.

       

 Next day Tasha wakes up early in the morning and goes through her mobile gallery and sees the video again and finds the same thing. She feels how this can happen. She believes this can only happen in films, not in reality and that there is no such thing as ghosts. She thinks, about how the video got captured. Thinking for a few seconds, she remembers that Zilia was using her mobile and that as Zilia was scared, her finger got pressed by mistake at the camera and the video got captured. She feels she needs to prove herself innocent. So she thinks of a plan. She thinks she should go there and find if the ghost comes there again. While thinking of this plan, her mother tells her that a boy likes her and she has to marry her, by keeping her mouth shut. Respectful Tasha replies to her mom, Sorry Mom, I have always respected you, but this I cannot do. I want to have a good career and then think of marriage. Tasha’s mom slaps her. Tasha falls on the bed.

Few months later…

      

 Tasha is married, now. But the thoughts of the ghost haunted her always. She thinks she should fulfill her plan today which she could not fulfill before marriage. Tasha reaches there. Time passes by, no vehicles, no person on road, nor has the ghost arrived. She thinks she should wait there for some more time. Eyes rolling this side, that side slowly closes down for a stressful sleep.

     

  Next sunny morning, her hometown church priest passes that side seeing Tasha lay down he comes to see her. He wakes her up and asks her why she is lying down here. Tasha wakes up, and replies, ‘Nothing father, I am fine’. Priest replies, My child Tasha I never asked you whether your fine, I asked you, why are you lying down here. My child I know you have come here to meet Zico. Zico?, Tasha says. Priest replies, Yes, the ghost who kissed you. Father, how do you know it. My child, Zico had met with an accident here four years before. The person who dashed him with the car had thrown him down in the water near this bridge and so his body was never found. And so his soul has no peace. He loved his girlfriend immensely and he was about to get married just two days after he met with an accident. So whichever girl passes by he thinks is his girlfriend and kisses her.

Five years later…

    

   It used to be a happy family once. But the ten years earlier incidents changed everyone’s lives. Now Tasha works in a bank. Her elder brother works on a passenger ship. Both parents are retired government service persons. Childhood to teenage life was sorted, adult life was dark.

    

  One fine day, in the beautiful rainy month of June Tasha had gone shopping while passing by the streets, she gets hit up by a car and falls down in the mountains. The car speeds carelessly taking an U-turn. People gather around but no one sees Tasha around. A stranger than finds her mobile and contacts her family. But, the family was busy with Neel’s about to be in laws. So, no one was aware of her. The stranger than thinks he should contact the police, but he rejects his decision thinking what will he get in return and throws the phone down in the water near the bridge. Time passes by, her mom starts thinking about her. She tries calling her on her mobile, but it comes switched off. Now she starts worrying about her. She goes and talks to Neel. He also gets worried and tries to call on her mobile several times, but her mobile comes switched off. So, he gets in his car and goes to find her. He finds her everywhere, but no sign of her. Night passes by.       

       

 Next morning Neel in tears returns home. His Mom and Dad run to the car. Looking at Neel they start feeling scared, and scream "Where is Tasha? Neel cries, and says Mama, I could not find her, I searched her everywhere, but she is nowhere. Mama I think Tasha is no more. No… this is not true, Mother screams, and blames herself, that all this happened because of her, as she never believed in her daughter. She was always true. She thinks she spoiled her entire life. Mother falls on her knees and cries…

Six months later…

     

  Neel is married now. He goes back to work on his passenger ship. It's been three months his wife is fighting with his parents soon after the third day of marriage and just after Neel had left on his ship. She has been harassing his mom and dad each and everyday, saying, you old hells, your son loves me like an idiot, but he is so nimble when he has to make the property on my name and so she tells them that she has blackmailed him with inaudible torturing words if they and their son don't make their crores property on her name, than she will burn herself. As he loves her immensely he also will make the world tata bye bye with her, she tells them that this their son has told her.

     

  Late in the evening, Neel’s wife Adele gets a call from the police station, saying that they want to talk to her about Tasha. Adele starts sweating and rushes to the police station. Her mother-in-law sees her in a hurry and follows her. Adele reaches the police station, and she sees someone but her eyes become foggy, she rubs her eyes and she sees Tasha and gets shocked and starts shivering. Tasha approaches Adele, and whispers in her ear, "Now it’s my time to get heaviest on you devil". Adele looks in her eyes and bites her teeth angrily. Police Inspector asks Adele, ‘Do you know Tasha?’. Adele replies, Ahh haa, Inspector what are you asking, she is my hubby’s sis how can I forget her. And Inspector, didn’t you call me because Tasha told you I am her brother’s wife. Inspector replies, Nah, she just told me that she has lost her memory due to an accident and that she remembers someone, but that she is not sure if that person is the same person. So, she gave me your number and I called you. Tasha doll you are alive, "Miracles do happen", says Adele.

       

 Neel’s mom reaches the police station and sees Tasha, she runs and hugs her flowing the immense child love tears. While mother and daughter were consoling themselves Adele whispers, ha ha ha, console as much as you want, because your son's life is in danger. I have made him so mad by harassing him that l will kill myself if I don’t get the property and today is the time. Just wait and watch the end. Adele goes far away, so that no one can find her. Tasha and her mom get worried. They try to call Neel but his mobile number comes unavailable. Neel being busy does not see Adele’s sms. Tasha tells her mother to go home and tells her not worry, since this time she will not give Adele to win.

         

Tasha goes back to the police station, and she complaints to the Inspector about Adele that she was the person who had made her accident and that this time she is on the track of harming her bro. She tells that she had seen Adele on the driver's seat. Inspector thinks whether he should believe her or not, but he keeps that aside to make the decision later, as he wanted to see if Adele is really involved in her brother's killing matter at the moment. So, the Inspector tracks Adele’s location, and they find out that Adele is near a resort. When Tasha reaches the resort she sees her ex-husband and his wife and their families partying and with them Adele too. She gets more angry and now she gets more hints that all this people wanted to spoil my life and so they had done fraud marriage and now spoiled my brother’s life and that they want to kill me, as I have decided I will not get married and so half of the property will be on my name, so she wants to kill me. She slaps Adele and grabs her mobile. Adele laughs, "Baby love, you’re too late for the victory celebrations". Tasha catches Adele’s neck and chokes her. Inspector pulls Tasha back, but she goes on pressing her neck. Inspector than tells her that he will arrest her in Adele’s murder and so she leaves her neck and tells her, this is how it feels when you blackmail, harass your loved ones and when you are hit by a car. Inspector arrests Adele.

On the ship…

      

   Neel goes to check his mobile, but suddenly his eyes fall on the television, he sees a movie of a mother and son, he gets emotional, and runs to his room and speaks to himself, what did I do, I spoke foolishly to my parents, and brought a cheap lady who is just hungry for the penny knowing her character. Hell she would even tell me about Tasha’s hell ex-husband's life matters, I heard it like a mad man without shutting her tongue. Mom also told me so many times that she is involved with them as Adele used to tell them too about Tasha’s ex-husband's life matters. Mom used to warn me always about Adele, she was scared after seeing Tasha’s dark divorce life. She told me before marriage that no one is true to us and that this Adele is also the same. She would always doubt that she is friends with my sister's ex-husband. And another big reason to be in doubt was her elder sister used to work at Tasha’s ex-husband's elder brother's hotel. I did not even know if my sister is alive or dead, my parents were so sad and I got married and I made them go to more sadness. Damn, how could I?, And cries.

       

  After a few seconds, he goes to work again, with all the frustration he just throws the mobile in water. Adele in jail is waiting for good news. Tasha and her parents keep on calling Neel, but it comes number dialed is wrong. So, hearing this their heart beats faster and faster. Suddenly they get a call from an international number, they get worried. Tasha and her parents are praying to God. Tasha picks up the call and keeps it on loudspeaker, as she shivers her words don't come out from her mouth. She and her parents hear Neel’s voice and take a sigh of relief, but are still worried whether he has seen the sms or not. Tasha talks to Neel. He can't believe his ears, he thinks he has gone mad with his wife's harassments. Tasha says to Neel, my brother, "In this life and in our coming lives, I will not leave you so soon, we have a lot of badminton matches to play”, Neel cries and says Tasha, my sister. Tasha and her parents flow in tears. Neel tells Tasha I am not a good brother and son Mom and dad, I hurt thou all the time. Mom says, Neel you have won your true wisdom back, that is all our happiness. Come soon my child. We are missing you. Neel says, Love you my No.1 family. In the police station, Adele hears the Inspector talking to Tasha, and saying that it’s great to hear that all is well. Hearing the good news she yells to hell.

One year later…

       

 Neel comes home, he has divorced Adele. Tasha’s mom apologizes again to Tasha, that if she would had not locked her and had clarified things at that time than she would never had to marry a foolish cheat who planned a fraud marriage to ruin her entire life to give her a lifetime tag of a divorcee. Her dad and brother also apologize. Mom you brought me back home and I have you all, that is what will matter me till my last breathe. Let Bygones be bygones.

       Tasha and her family are living wonderful lives. On the other hand, Adele is sentenced for her entire life in the mental asylum jail.
