The Diwali gift

Let us start the story by...….

You see the boy sitting under the tree his name is Rahul, and he is eagerly waiting for his Diwali gift. 

And here come Golu, Rahul's best friend...

Golu - Hey.. Rahul why are you not playing, come and join us. 

Rahul - Thank you Golu, but now I am busy

Golu - What are you doing 

Rahul - waiting for my present 

Golu- Oooo!! nice but which present 

Rahul - My Diwali present 

Golu knew , Rahul parents could not afford any gifts for him 

Since Rahul's parents were the poorest in the villages..and he did not want him to know about this. It will make him sad.

The whole night Golu was thinking about this.

And at last he thought to give him a gift by himself. 

The following morning. 

He went to the gift shop and saw a really beautiful art set. This reminds Golu that Rahul was a good painter. He thought to buy it.

 But, wait he did not check the MRP . Let's check it now. It's 500 Rupees. It feels like a problem, Golu has only 400 rupees, where will the remaining money come from. He came home sadly and saw his father's coat hanging on it. He took 100 Rupee and ran to the shop then he went to Rahul's house and it was great.

Rahul was not at home. He gave the kit to his parents and told them not to tell Rahul that he bought it. Rahul's parents were extremely happy.

But Golu's parents were not. His father had found out that he had stolen money from him. He was very angry with him but he went to sleep early and the following morning was Diwali itself. 

In, the following morning. Golu's father had beaten him so much that he was not able to move. Later, at night Rahul's parents told the truth to Golu's parents. 

Golu's father was so ashamed of his behaviour. 

Both of the families celebrate Diwali together.
