She Made My Day.....

On a bright, sunny afternoon in May, I went to the airport to see him off. 

My guy had come down for two days leave. Being an army man's lady, even two days is a big thing for me. After spending some quality time with him, with a heavy heart, I bid him farewell and went to the parking to get my bike. 

I got my motorbike out and my phone started vibrating again and again. I was on the highway. I got my bike on the side and answered the call. It was my bestie calling. She had made plans to go out and surprise her guy. For the past two days, she had no clue about my whereabouts as my phone was on flight mode. She quickly asked me to meet her up. I told her I was on the way back home from the airpor

t. She didn't let me decide on anything and just met me up halfway. I said I don't want to come as I was feeling low but she was stern on taking me out. 

I parked my bike at the bus stand's parking area and we headed towards our destination. After a long ride of 60km, we were at our destination. And to my surprise, all our other friends were waiting there for us. I was filled with joy. There were some who I was meeting after months together. And the place was so scenic. We were on a hill which was overlooking the sea. The setting sun just brought all of us in the right mood. It was a get together of all old friends. 

The best times we ever had. And my bestie......She knew very well how to lift my spirit high.
