Shallow Existence?

Thinking why he is ahead, why I am second not first, always thinking this made me realize why I am thinking such, is life a race which we have to win, why our happiness is in others' failure, not our success, what is a success? Is it feeling of being recognized by other in terms of capability or material, why our every action is in terms of ourselves, not others what we need, physical comforts if the material is the end of everything also science then how will be our existence without it, what are our aims going to be, why we need education? i\Is it socializing us to wrong ends and means of life? sometimes I wonder this life is nothing but a useless drive for improving your future in terms of objects, status determined by others, by spoiling your present in futile activities, why not relax, just sit and look at nature, why we are in a hurry to imprint our existence on nature through big roads, highways, factories, houses,etc., which we term as development, as survival requires nothing but 3 meals a day, a shelter, cloth and rest is for whom by us yet achieving nothing in terms of satisfaction, all these inventions this is the fridge, this is the car , is it for us or our body, we are free to do what we want in today's world but are enslaved by markets, by our heart, so think are we still free? if the development that we think is taking us forward, then think where?
