Priyanka's Mistake

Once there lived an 11-year old girl named Priyanka, with her father Sudhir and mother Shila. Priyanka loved to play video games.

She would not go out and play or study. Instead, she would keep playing video games from morning till evening.

One day, when Priyanka was in school, her mother threw all the video games. When Priyanka returned home, she noticed that all her video games were missing. So she asked her mother, “Mom, where are my video games?” her mother replied, “I have thrown them in the dustbin.” Priyanka became very angry and ran out.

Her mother was tensed. She searched for her in all the rooms but couldn’t find her.

After some time, her father returned home from the office. Sudhir (Priyanka’s father) noticed that Priyanka is not at home. So he asked Shila (Priyanka’s mother) “Where is Priyanka? “ She replied, “I don’t know. I threw her video games when she was in school. After she returned home, she noticed that her video games are not there at home. So, she became angry and went out.”

So they decided to search for Priyanka.

They searched at all the neighboring houses but couldn’t find her.

At last, they went to Priyanka’s best friend’s house. They asked them, “Is Priyanka here? “They said, “Yes, she is playing with Suzie. “They ran inside and saw that Priyanka is playing carom happily with Suzie.

They asked Priyanka to come home along with them. She returned home along with her parents

. They asked her to stop playing video games and instead play outdoor games and study.

Now Priyanka understood that video games are injurious to health and we should listen to our elders. They always want the god of us so they will never ask us to do anything wrong.
