Once upon a time, there lived a king. He had a vast kingdom and was very happy. He even had a clever prime minister. His minister always gave him clever solutions to his problems.

One day, as he was gazing outside the palace window, the speed of the wind began to increase. The doors of the window began to open and close. During the process, the king tried to move away from the window but one of his fingers got stuck amidst them and got cut. The king gave a loud cry of pain. Blood was flowing from his finger. The royal doctor was called and his hand was bandaged.

Many of his ministers came to meet him and know about his health. Even his prime minister came to meet him. He smiled and said, " Your majesty, whatever happens, happens for good". The king was very angry and asked his soldiers to arrest the prime minister and put him in jail. The prime minister quietly walked away with the soldiers.

A new prime minister was appointed.

A few days later, the king went for hunting in the forest with his prime minister and few soldiers. After some time, the king spotted a beautiful deer. He decided to follow it and kill it. The king shot many arrows but failed to kill the deer. The king and the prime minister soon realised that they were lost in the forest. They didn't know the way back to the kingdom.

It was night time. A group of tribal people tied their hands with ropes and took them along. The tribal people were looking out for some men to offer as a sacrifice to their goddess.

The king and the prime minister were in big trouble. They knew that they could not save their lives now.

The tribals believed that they could only make a sacrifice of a complete man. So, the head of the tribe examined the king and the prime minister. When the chief saw the king had lost a finger, he freed him as he was not a complete man. The tribe believed that their goddess would not accept the sacrifice of such a man.

After wandering in the forest for 2 days, the king, at last reached his kingdom. As soon as he entered his palace, he ordered his guards to release the prime minister from the prison. He then called him to his court with great respect and honour.

As soon as the prime minister entered the court, the king narrated the story of the bandits to him. He honoured him by, once again, making him the Prime Minister of his kingdom.

The prime minister said, " Your highness, whatever happens, happens for good ".
