It was a dark stormy evening covered with a carpet of black clouds. She reached Marina street, after taking 200 steps she saw two giant men's both of them had a muscular body, one of them got a fresh cut mark under his eyes and the other one was half-blind. She knew them, she stopped for few seconds thinking she should hide or she should continue walking, then she started walking, curious to know about her next few minutes.

Within a second they were standing facing each other 'John, Is she 16 year old Grace title?' the half-blind man pointed his index finger towards Grace, 'Yes, Grace the loser' Peter laughed at her, Grace stood there listening to them and tolerating her anger 'Stop it... I am not a loser' Grace shouted 'Oh! I guess your family is waiting for you' Peter said 'Peter, you should say, their dead bodies are waiting for her' John gave an evil smile. After listening to this a massive amount of monoamine oxidase was released from her brain she immediately started rushing towards her house, as she was taking large footsteps her heart rate was increasing, she was breathing heavily, her face turned red and she was sobbing a lot... When she reached, she stood outside her house praying her family is safe. 'Mom... I am...home' Grace stammered she slowly opened the door as she entered she saw the floor was covered with blood, her father was lying dead on the floor they removed his eyes from the socket she immediately rush towards the kitchen where her mom was raped and half burnt. Grace bent her knees beside her mom and all the memories of Grace with her mom and dad were shedding from her eyes.

It was a dark lonely stormy night, Grace was all alone confused about what to do, where to go, she was just screaming, throwing things, and regretting. After her parents funeral, she started living with her grandparents and her 17-year-old cousin. 

After a year...


One sunny day, her cousin Ray was passing by a street and he saw Grace with one man. On the same day evening, when Grace entered her room she saw Ray sitting on her bed and sneaking into her personal diary, 'What are you doing?' Grace pushed the door and Ray immediately shut her book 'Oh! I saw you today near the general store' Ray said Grace was stopped for two seconds and asked 'And what did you see?' 'You are a drug addict?' 'No..I mean... yes' 'OMG! you can't do this, now I understood that because of you, my uncle and aunt got killed...' Ray cried, everything was quiet Grace was ashamed of herself but still she dared to speak up 'I know this is wrong and I am trying to avoid drugs but I can't... I am sorry...I am sorry' she was slapping herself, sobbing, screaming, and then her brother realized that she needs to be calm and then he went towards her and kept his hand on her left shoulder and hugged her making her comfortable and he said looking towards her eyes 'Don't worry Grace it's not too late, you can leave this addiction, I will help you my little sister' and made Grace very comfortable and a small relief. Then, they started working in cafe's, malls, and many other places and started collecting money to give those drug dealer their money and at the same time Grace started her tough, journey of leaving drugs the first few initial days were very difficult for her, sometimes she used to vomit, sometimes bathing with very cold water sometimes hot water and also she decided to become a police officer and finally after walking a road full of stones she became a senior police officer and she was no more a drug addict. 

After walking such a long path when she joined in police she was sexually assaulted by one of her colleagues but she didn't stop with the help of the court she send them to jail and she became a role model for many girls. Later on, she arrested many drug dealers many companies, and one day she arrested her parents killer and that was the day when she made her parents proud, she made herself proud of her hard work, dedication she discovered herself. Ray proved to be a very good brother, he helped her to overcome her addiction. She was glad to have such a great man in her life.
