Meet my imaginary Friend.

Meet my imaginary Friend.

I want to tell you something about this ' imaginary' friend of mine. I call him 'imaginary', because no one sees him, except me.

....and most of the time he does nothing but lounge about and sleeps. His name is Chandragupta Maurya. He was once the ruler of 'Bharat Varsha'.

I have no idea what he does at home when I'm not there, but whenever I'm home Chandragupta is still happily sleeping. That is why I always wonder whether he was ever a 'ruler' of ' 'Bharatvarsha' as historians claim to favor him.

When its dinnertime, he's nowhere to be seen...and when I do find him, he says "I'm too filled up to eat." I don't know what he eats when he eats, because when I set the plate for him, he always returns it, because some Chanakya fed him some secret recipe and he ended up eating that still today.

Chandragupta walks so slowly on the road, that he gets almost into an accident.

Last month, we planned a trip to Nalanda, but Chandragupta didn't show up. I asked him. "why?"

"because I wasn't interested in getting myself sunburnt" was the reply...

Actually, he isn't interested in chasing his life of the past anyway.
