Hearing this, Maisy asks “why do you care so much” and John’s cheeks turn bright red. And she says ‘ just leave that but do not do that again you know nothing about me. Okay?” and John says “ I understand, and I know what you have been through” and she asks “ you understand?” and he said “I am an orphan, actually my mom died in an accident and my dad left me. My aunt was the one who looked after me, so I understand how it is like losing a daily member." Hearing this maisy says “I am so sorry sir, It is just I wanna find my dad again” and John says “No worries, call me John and I understand about your goal , I will help you” and holds her hand in reassurance. At that time when he touches her hand he gets butterflies and Maisy turns red. They both look at each other. Maisy has this new feeling about John that is so happy, amazement and and pr…protective .

They stay like that for a minute but then Maisy's phone rings and they both quickly take their hands away. The phone is on the table and says “My forever love”. Seeing that John feels a bit sad that Maisy likes someone else. Maisy asks for a minute and takes the call. She says “Maaa I am in the station now, doing an investigation….. I understand you were concerned but nothing will happen to me. You stay safe okay. And do not forget to take your tablets ” and cut the phone. 

John feels happy that it is only her mom. But being not sure he blurts out “do you love someone already” and slaps his hand over his mouth. Maisy, hearing this laughs and says “that is a bit of a random question but no, in case you were wondering, It was only my mom” and all of a sudden she has never said this much details to a person.

Hearing that John feels relieved and shakes his head. He is not good at being all romantic. But he wants to ask something so he asks, “would you like to have a coffee with me you know, to discuss things” and Maisy looks at John constantly for a minute and asks “discuss what things?” and John replies “ummmmm… just about the case” and Maisy says “of course…. what else would you discuss (and laugh ). Anyways, when and where?”

John gets happy for the reply he was actually planning to confess to her. He says “Today afternoon, sharp at 5 and in coffee time near the 7th district”
