Due to group project work on 'sustainable development' some of the students stayed back in the college after the class. After they finished their project it was 10 pm. When Naraine was about to go home on his bike, a humble voice came to him: "Naraine would you please drop me, my home is on your way. Buses or rickshaws are not available." said Anjali who was Naraine's classmate. Naraine: "I won't give any lift to girls. It is against our morality." Anjali: "Look brother, I have no idea how to go to my home. I have only a bedridden grandpa." Naraine: "I am very sorry, I can't help you." After saying this he left without considering the plead of that girl!

The next day when Naraine came to the college he heard the news that Anjali was brutally raped and killed by 4 persons. After knowing this his conscience made him guilty. He thought he could have saved that girl and even Ganga water could not purify his sin!
