Months ago I had been to my native and we just got down from the train. My grandpa was waiting for us with a broad smile on his face. I just got down and ran towards him and hugged him tightly. After all, I was meeting him after 2 yrs which was quite a long time. Like always ayya (as I always call him) was holding my hand and we were walking together. Suddenly, I saw a few young children begging near the station. They never had good clothes to wear like us, they had no money to eat good food like us. And I was wondering how these people survive and how they make their lives. I was completely in my own world thinking about their situation. Suddenly, a girl came and held my hand and called me didi.. didi.. I looked at her shockingly and she started begging for money.

Before telling what happened later, I would like to put up a thing which my parent's and grandparents have thought me all these years. Never give money to a beggar but help a needy. If you really wanna help them, be kind to them, make them progress in their lives! Try to give them food. This is what I have learnt and it's my opinion as well and it may differ from your opinion because no two people think the same.

Yeah, so I just went into flashback for some moment and then after returning to reality I asked her, "khaana khaogey aap?". She said, nahi didi and she again started asking for money. To which I asked, tum padhna chahogey? After listening to this she just ran away and I kept calling her to help her in some way but she just ran away. But my gaze suddenly went upon a little girl who was also begging for her livelihood. She was about six to seven years old and was continuously looking at me with tear-filled eyes.

Looking at her, I felt she was hungry. I went to her and offered her biscuits, she took it with a smile and replied thankyou di. I also asked her whether she wanted to study rather than beg? To which she started crying because she was sent by her parents to beg for money. So I took her to her mother who lived in a hut nearby that station and asked her to enroll her in a school and told her that I would pay her fees. To which she agreed after a long discussion and that girl is now a good student, a good daughter living a happy and successful life.

So from this story, we encountered two girls, both a beggar, one who was willing to study and other, who was not. Its all about our perceptions, our wishes, the teachings we have received since birth and lastly our willingness to do something great in life

Moral: If you ever get an opportunity of helping others please help, it will be a great deed for which you will be remembered for lifetime

EDUCATION IS THE BEST GIFT ONE COULD EVER GET!!
