Making Eye Contact...

Eye contact is a two-way street:

Arousal is elicited by the sending and receiving of eye gaze information…

Eight prolonged periods made everyone’s mind dry as a dust. Especially that spun-one history lecture. All were restless in their seats and waiting for the bell to ring so that they could hot-to-drot with their bags. But still 10 minutes were left, so Tanya asked Mahi to play blink the eye game with him.

“Blink the eye game? Leave it. You’ll lose.” Mahi said in scoffed manner.

“What’s the best?” Tanya asked.

“Okay! Then a coffee treat by the loser.” Mahi demanded.

“Deal it!”. Tanya confirmed it.

Then, they both started looking into each other’s eyes. No sooner did the eyes make contact than the salubrious four eyes started playing the game of love and they never knew that. Mahi looked into Tanya’s eyes and realized that she’s so beautiful. Tanya was looking into his eyes and found that those eyes were very deep.

The game of eyes was breaking all boundaries. Meanwhile, due to unblinking of eyes, tears started streaming down from Tanya’s eyes. After noticing it, Mahi blinked his eyes instantly without thinking for a moment.

“And I won.” Tanya shouted in exuberance.

“Huh! Damn the mosquito.” Mahi excused.

Finally, their first date started at coffee shop with that eye contact.

This game played cupid for them. And why not? Because eye contact is a nonverbal permission that lets the other person know that they are welcomed into ones world.
