Magic Of Trust

Hiwa, an adorable dimpled girl and Adreet, smart and generous guy, were dating each other for 3 years. Hiwa was someone who loves to experience new things in life. She would never miss visiting any new cafe or any new spot that she gets to know about. She would never want to leave anything untouched by her. She used to try everything whether it is an adventure sport or riding a bike in the valley or tasting different cuisines. She never minded for anything except her desire to encounter everything in life. She didn’t even care about her own life. She even used to put her life at stake if she had to while undergoing new things. Adreet loved her for who she was. He used to support her in everything she wanted to do in her life. People even called him crazy or even henpecked sometimes. They used to poke fun at him saying only you can prove that “Love is blind.” He simply used to revert with a smile.

Hiwa’s passion for trying new stuff was always accelerating day by day. She began taking Adreet’s freedom and trust for granted. She started living her life the way she wanted to and disregarded his desires or wishes, she stopped taking his suggestions or approvals slowly and gradually. She started living her life as if she’s unattached and she doesn’t have anyone to take care of. Though Adreet never complained or grumbled, instead he used to say that being in a relationship doesn’t mean to neglect your desire, nor it means to survive for anyone. Rather, it means to be comfortable with who you are and to do whatever you want to without the fear of being judged. Sometimes it felt like Adreet is stupid, sum and foolish enough and lives in the world of ingenuity and fantasies. 

Hiwa started exploring new places, new cuisines, and now new guys. People who noticed this went and told Adreet about this but, he always said, “She has the right to do whatever she wants to. I’ll never question her nor prohibit her from doing anything she wants to do.” Hiwa started taking Adreets meaning of love for granted and she started dating numerous guys one after the other. Many times it even happened that Adreet saw her with someone and, Hiwa always tried to explain herself but, Adreet stopped her saying, “Babe I love you and I trust you more than anything else in the whole galaxy, you don’t need to give me any damn explanations. I know my Hiwa can never do anything wrong or anything that would mistreat me.” 

This continued for a period of time and people initiated to come and tell Adreet to look into his future instead of wasting time and his pure emotions on someone who was cheating on him. Adreet used to tell them that, “Hiwa isn’t cheating on him, she’s just fulfilling her dream of exploring and experiencing everything in the world, and I support her in everything she wanna do.” He even used to say that he trusts Hiwa more than his own eyes and ears. Listening to such replies from Adreet every time people stopped coming and telling him about Hiwa’s actions. 

It’s a day when Hiwa heard Adreet acknowledging someone like he always used to. Hiwa is taken aback listening to this. She goes to Adreet and hugs him and asks him, “Why do you trust me so much?” Adreet says, “Because I understand you, dear.” 

Hiwa’s eyes are full of tears and she tells him about all the guys with whom she cheated on him. Adreet simply said, “It’s alright Hiwa, I know you love me a lot, and I even know you like to experience new things in life and this was just a phase of your life when you chose to experience new guys.” Hiwa puts her palm on his lips to stop him from speaking ahead as that was making her feel more guilty about whatever she did out of the excitement of trying new things. That day she realised the power of blind trust, and she wanted to tell him about everything she did secretly. But she was so overwhelmed by his extraordinary way of loving her in the world of one-night stands and entirely guilt-ridden because of her actions and was left with no expressions to express herself.

Then, with those invaluable pearly tears in her eyes, she managed to gather a couple of words and mumbled, “Wiii…llllll- Eeee…wwwww - maaa….rrrr….yyyy mmm….eeee…?”

Adreet hugs her tightly and says, “Of course yes, and yeah sweetie you are free to live your life as per your yearning. Marrying me will never mean that you will have to live your life according to me.”

Hiwa smiles crookedly and says, “Only lucky people can get a guy like you in life, I’m really embarrassed for whatever I did till now. From now I’ll do everything I want to but never without your concern.” 

Adreet smiles from one corner of his lips and puts her scattered hair behind her ear with his first finger, whispering into her ears, “Shhh… I love you for who you are, and love can’t be based on anything; it's simply an unconditional feeling. So, you don’t need to explain yourself to me love.”

Hiwa had no words after this due to her guilt of taking advantage of his true and unconditional love and at the same time, the feeling of being the luckiest girl in the whole universe made her feel all the mixed emotions at the same instant. Then they committed to get married soonest and to live with each other. Hiwa added, “I wish to be your girl not only in this life but in every birth I take on this earth.” 

Adreet leaned a little and kissed her forehead and comforted her with the sweetest hug she could ever feel in her lifetime.

Now, the people who called Adreet crazy, stupid, blind in love, etc., etc. realised the magical power of blind trust. They now know the meaning of unconditional love. They never understood Adreet’s way of loving Hiwa but now they know that trusting someone more then thyself can do miracles and the emotions that have complaints and conditions can never be termed as love. Love is such a pure and strong emotion that it doesn’t leave any rooms for any kind of condition.
