Lost. He was lost.

“Am I lost? ” Benjamin asked himself.

Though the answer was yes, he murmured,“ No. This can’t happen.” Then, he started meandering again.

The sun was shining bright yellow, however, Benjamin felt blue. The grass did ballet and trees jazzed gracefully, yet he wandered in search of finding a way out. The wind blew faster, faster and faster. He just saw endless hills, covered in green; small paths, starting anywhere and ending nowhere and tall thorny bushes, everywhere.

On his way - with no end - he felt as if he heard a voice. The roar of the wind made it nearly impossible to perceive. After many efforts, he could concentrate. Hearing a known-unknown voice he stumbled back. It was his friend’s voice. Shocked but hopeful, he tried to figure out ‘What was she saying ?’

“Think. Don’t give up. There is away. G…” And then the voice cracked. “ G … G … G … ” the helpless boy cried.

While he was thinking about the way out - ‘G…’, the sun started to dive below the horizon, the trees and grass started to settle down as students in a serious classroom, the wind started to blow slower. Benjamin started to panic: his blood pressure crossed limits, thoughts of staying in a forest at night made him green around the gills and he started to lose hope.  Until, his phone vibrated and he yelled proudly “ GPS! ”

Taking out his phone from his pocket he cried with laughter . But, after a few clicks, he realized that there was NO NETWORK. He lost hope. He lost. Lost.

A Few minutes later ...

“TRR …” the exam bell rang. Benjamin opened his eyes.

“Pens down,” his teacher announced,“ Return your answer sheets to me.”

He had failed his General Knowledge test which had the question,“ What should one do if he/she is lost in a forest ?”
