Locked Childhood... In Pandemic

A toddler, a kid..whose only thought infinitely...is to play...in parks...go to school... learn, mingle with the teachers and friends...run, jump, cycle, swing, slide, climb... feel the fresh breeze, see the trees swaying in the air, birds chirping, experience the world outside...

Yet... it's tearfully true and cruel... the fact that childhood has been locked in pandemic.... for safety reasons, children are refrained from going in parks, meeting friends, enjoy all the fun as a child...

Curse this pandemic situation... which has stolen childhood rights from our little one's... empty swings slides and seasaws...no company of friends...no school...no breeze of fresh air and large grounds...to run freely...jump, hop, skip and fleet like a bird in the open...

Children are confined within their homes...doors shut, grilled windows... limited space for free play... parents busy in their own chorus..... Bless the children...may the Almighty wreck havoc on COVID 19... and bring back their much-longed childhood...a childhood... which once gone...shall never return... Amen...
