Chapter 10

Lavanya was getting ready for office.

"Didi you look so good" beamed Shivani.

"Bus bus shivi chane ke jhaad pe mat chadha" she told her lil sis.

They had an age difference of around 10 years.

She was 15 when Lavanya had joined office and was very happy about it.

She had joined Raichand enterprises as a personal secretary and was looking forward to it.

After completing her degree in hotel management, she was very keen on taking on the whole world.

"ab meri aankhon mei

meethe meethe khwab hai

Ajanbi rahon mei

Duniya ki bahon mei

muskrati main.."

She was humming this song she had heard a few days ago on the youtube channel and it quite resonated with her current feelings.

Mr. Raichand welcomed her inside the office with a firm handshake and she smiled back at him.

"Ms. Tanya she is my new assistant Lavanya. Kindly guide her through the entire work process" he told the administration head.

She smiled at him and thought.

"One more butterfly he got".

She smiled at her and asked her to follow her.

Mr. Raichand kept looking at her intently. 

"She looks too inviting" he laughed wickedly.

Lavanya did her work with due diligence.

Very soon she began handling the major clients and was the go to person for any issues related with any work to be get done from Mr. Raichand

"Good going Lavanya" Tanya appreciated her.

"Thanks to you Lavanya ma'am " she answered cheerfully.

"Don't think that it is only your hard work. it has a lot to do with how you look baby" she told rudely.

She did not like her remark at all.

"What do you mean Ms Tanya" she told angrily

"I am sure you must be doing some personal favours to climb up the ladder" she told rudely

She couldn't control her anger.

"what are you saying. Please mind your language" she told

"Huh...everybody knows Raichand...he has this thing for new butterfiles" she laughed wickedly and went from there.

Lavanya was very angry with this remark. she wanted to complain to Mr. Raichand and barged inside his office.

"Yes, Ms. Lavanya" he told

"Sir, Tanya ma'am is having false notions about me" she told angrily.

"What false notions. Kindly elaborate" he told.

"That I am doing some personal favours to you that's why I have climbed the success ladder" she told all in a go.

"Hmm...interesting. so what's wrong in that....you can reach more higher up if you do give me personal favours" he moved closer and whispered in her ears.

Lavanya was dumbstruck. She didn't know what to say. Tears were flowing down her eyes.

"Oh ho...this is what I don't like about you middle class girls. You don't think with your mind. You have a younger sis, your mom and an ailing dad to look after. You need to be practical" saying so he kept his hand on her shoulder.

She understood what he wanted.

And it was true only she did have many responsibilities. She had to fulfil all that.

She wiped her tears and asked.

"What can I do for you" 

"Now that is like a good girl. I don't want anything much. I just want to spend sometime with you to relax myself in the evening" he told sitting next to her and caressing her thighs.

She didn't like his touch at all but she did not have any other option.

So now everyday she used to go to their company guest house after office and let her soul be tarnished by his touch.

It didn't matter to her. She just wanted the money to shoulder her responsibilities.

Six months passed and this arrangement was working fine.

One day, his kid too suddenly came to the guest house.

"Dad, dad" he called

As he entered the room, he was shocked to see his dad and Lavanya in a compromising position.

"Oh shit you didn't lock the door" he told Lavanya.

He ran after his son, "Anish , anish" he called.

But he had walked out of there.
