August 15, 1947, was the most fortunate and most important day in Indian history when our Indian freedom fighter despised all his things and used them to gain independence for India. With the auspicious day of India, Indians chose Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister who hoisted the tricolor flag on the Red Fort of the National Capital, Delhi. Today every Indian celebrates this special day as a festival.
