I Found A Wallet

One day, while I was walking. I found a wallet in the street.

I opened it to see if it contained by a document of identification, but inside it, I found only 3$ and a letter that seemed to have been there for decades. The envelope was very worn but the address from which it had been sent was still readable. I read the content of the letter hoping that it revealed the name of the person who had written it. And I found out that it was a goodbye letter addressed to a certain Michael, written 60 years ago.

The woman who had sent it told him that they could no longer be together because her family did not approve. it was a very sad letter was also full of feelings, and closed with, "you will be forever in my heart . with love, Anna."

I decided to do some research based on that address until I found someone who knew the woman who had written it. Making one phone call after the other, I managed to find out that Anna was alive and lived in a nursing home. When I asked if it was possible to pay her a visit I hesitated, "Why I was doing all this?" But in the end i went to meet her.

When I showed her the letter, she took a deep breath and with tears in her eyes told me,

"I was only 16 years old, my mother thought that we were too young to be together. This letter was the last 'contact' I had with Michael Goldstein.
