The Last time
The Last time
For the last time, don't disturb me! Please.
Jun wants to be free from all the...well, from all THAT. That noise, that stench, that feeling of being in a world contaminated by humans in every aspect.
With a single bite of bun in his mouth, his eyes exactly not looking at anything, wandering off on to land of thoughts, where he was whirled into thinking, when was the last time he ever had the leisure to look at the sky, lying down on his back, comfortably keeping his hand to the head, relaxed, humming, gazing at the stars, finding shape of the clouds, guessing the planet, (laughing) blink of the distant stars guessing newborns and dies ones, without a worry to disturb him to look deep into the sky.
When was the last time he breathed air so fresh that his nostrils could smell the freshness of the green ground around him. So fresh that the air fills his lungs with life and love from nature. So romantic that he could feel the touch of the chill breeze on his face.
When was the last time he had time to go for swimming in a lake or pond, Splashing the water like a kid, trying the back stroke which never came to him , float in the water, do a flip.
Jun missed all that.
Nowadays it's just the feeling of missing something. This feeling haunting his daydreams almost every day. The feeling of what this world is loosing. The fear of what we are failing to protect is gripping and gaining on him. Not knowing, what can be done. Not knowing who can fix the damage. The fear itself is haunting.
Something has to be done. Someone has to fix this. It needs to go back to the way it was before all THIS. All these Humans. The worst kind of virus ever roams this planet sucking every little ounce of nature. These blood-sucking vermin of humans need to disappear.
At the very moment, there was a phone call
"Dad! I need to buy a pair of new shoes. Its torn in half. I can't wear this to school tomorrow"
" Buddy, You know what, I'll get it for you this weekend. Just adjust for this week !!" said Jun
"Okay, dad !!" beep.
All those thoughts that about to erupt and jump down to save the world on its own, is now turned into nothing more than a puff of smoke, which goes out without a trace.
When was the last time you lived?
