How Much Could You Lie?

Shaila and Sheela are best friends. They are friends since childhood. Shaila lost her mother at an early age. She was all alone when she net Sheela. Her father married again and Shaila was torture by her stepmother. Sheela knowing all this comforted her by encouraging her, providing food, love, etc. She convinced Shaila not to give up her studies on whatever situation she faces. Shaila agreed and was continuing her studies. When both of them reached class nine Shaila was finding very difficult to study at home because she had to do all household works and look after her stepbrother and sister. Meanwhile, Sheela's father was transferred to another district and she joined another school. Now, Shaila was all alone again. But Sheela used to write a letter every Sunday and posted it along with another envelope and ticket within for Shaila. So life was going on.

Both of them were studying hard. This time Shaila, not the Fourth thank and Sheela got second. Sheela's parents continuously were guiding her and Shaila was all alone. Without tuition and guide books Shaila was doing pretty well. Her Teachers, Shravani mam and Binay sir still by her side. They helped her with guidance and food. she was not given enough food by her stepmother. Meanwhile, she lost her father and was not allowed to go to school. Only did months left for the board exam and she stopped going to school. Her Teachers enquired and requested her stepmother but she was adamant not to send Shaila to school. Shaila was badly abused by her stepmom and her siblings. Bearing this the principal Mr. Sharma came forward and requested her mother. The principal found the Shaila was badly beaten by her mother. Finally, he has police complain and requested Shaila.

After MEDICAL treatment her teacher Shravani took her to her home. For a month Sheela didn't receive any reply so she asked her father to visit Shaila 's place and bring information about why she is not replying to her letters. Her father agreed on and when he went to Shaila 's home to enquire how is Shaila, her stepmom replied that she died one month ago in a road accident. Hearing this Sheela's father became very sad and went back home. He thought this sad news might hamper Sheela's studies. So he decided he will not share this news with her daughter now , but after board exam. Sheela seeing her father ran and asked how was Shaila. He replied everything was fine but looking at his face Sheela thought something was wrong. But she did not enquire further and gave him a glass of water to drink. Sheela prayed to God for her friend's long life every day. On the other hand, Shaila was happy to stay with Shravani mam and had enough time to study. One day her mam asked ' do you want something from me? I always feel you want to say something but could not ask, Tell me what you want. ' Shaila replied that for the last four months she did not talk to Sheela not written any letter to her. So if mam can take her to Sheela's home she would be grateful. Everyone kore about their friendship and Shravani mam one Sunday took Shaila to Sheela's residence. Sheela was so happy to receive her best friend. Shaila was very thankful to Shravani mam. Sheela's mother cooked tasty food and everyone enjoyed it.

At Two o'clock in the afternoon, Sheela's father returned home. Seeing Sheela so happy he asked what happened. Sheela called her friend Shaila. Sheela's father could not believe her eyes. How this is possible. He hugged Shaila and blessed her. Tears ran down his eyes. His wife asked why are you crying.you should be happy to see your other daughter after so many months. He asked both the girls to play. He then narrated all the incidents when he visited Shaila,s house. Shravani mam also narrated how they rescued Shaila from her stepmother. Hearing all this Sheela's father decided to legally adopt Shaila as his daughter. His wife was also willing. Finally, legal papers were signed and Shaila got her New home. They both got good thanks in board exam and got admission to the Science stream for class eleven. Sheela's father was very much dissatisfied to feel how Shaila 's stepmother could say that she was dear. One Sunday he decided to visit Shaila 's stepmother home and asked her again about Shaila. She again replied she died of a road accident. Sheela's father replied how she can say a lie. how her lips allowed her to speak such wrong words for her stepdaughter.

She is really a bad stepmom. She was caught red-handed. Sheela's father said really Shaila got a New Birth and she is his daughter. She is very happy with her new life. He returned home satisfied and now fully concentrated on his daughter s career and to give them a good future.
