His Love

It all started, before her 15 days trip to Udaipur. She sent a request to one of her friend’s friend before the trip. Then she eventually forgot the social media for 15 days, to enjoy the days of trip. After 15 days, when she returned back, Notifications predicted that he had accepted the request. As always, normal hi, hellos began, and ended walking together on carpet of love.

His call made her feel in the garden of roses, gardenia and jasmine, and the scent of flowers, favoured a beautiful smile every day. Cupid was in her favour, for 2 to 3 month, then suddenly, the cupid of love, changed her life from a bed of roses to thorns. Suddenly, he started avoiding her calls, started being offline on social media for day, without informing, which created a bucket of tension on her heart. Few weeks passed, and she got addicted to such heart-breaking event, every night, waiting for hours for his one reply and ending up with tears which was leading her to depression. Even God, didn’t find it right, so He engaged her, in one of the events in college – The Science Assemble.

In the meanwhile, they totally lost contact. She had no knowledge of him, she tired his call everyday but either it was switched off or out of reach. She gave her 100%, forgetting about the heart-break and won, 1st prize in assemble. Everyone praised her achievement, but her eyes was on her phone waiting for his call. That night of achievement she decided to make a last call to him, and to her amazement the call was picked by him. Their conversation began as normal hi, hello’s and few caring words, at the end he said “I won’t be able to be in touch for days as I am out of station.” She said “Its okie, I will wait.” And the call suddenly ended. A smile glowed her face that day, in the happiness she even forgot to give the news of her achievement to him. She called him again, but the same story again “The number you are calling is switched off.”

She waited for him, for days, days started becoming weeks, weeks turned to months, she started worrying, she tired calling him, but was unavailable, but the seed of his love was still growing in her heart without any doubt. Her life eventually changed from garden to desert still that hope was giving her a reason for survival.

Then after a year of their conversation the same day, she got call from the same number. Tears became the sign of her happiness that evening but stranger gave her the most shocking news of her life that “He is no more, he had no intention to hurt you, but the news of cancer, totally broke him and he decided to leave you with suspense.” She went numb, after hearing this, phone suddenly fell and her pain burst into tears that night.
