Her Martyred Son

She was waiting for her son to come home.

As he was going to visit home after four years.

After a long wait, someone knocked on the door. She ran to open the door as she was expecting her son at the same time. With her wobbly legs and shaky hands, she opened the door.

There were five cops, they bowed to her. She couldn’t figure out what’s wrong.

Then, they opened a briefcase and took out a few stuff and gave her.

She looked at the stuff, there were her son’s badge, cap and a lot of medals.

All she received after a long wait was “his stuff” and not the“son himself”!!
