Heart
Heart
Once there lived a boy and a girl in a small town. It so happened that, one day when they were playing together in a garden, a small fairy approached them and they were surprised to see her emerging from a hole in the ground.
She warned them that they should walk apart before they grow up because once they grow up and start sharing memories together, the pieces of their heart will connect to each other n these pieces will replace the original spaces and very soon their perfect heart will become ugly, cracked and unattractive which would be resented by the whole world and it would be really hard for them to mend things at that time.
But they refused to listen to her and continued to be together. Day by day the pieces from his heart transferred to hers and the same happened to his heart. They could see their heart changing from perfect to crooked, impaired with lines in between but they truly admired it without even thinking once about the world around. Finally, the world came to know about the ugly reality and decided to shatter them.

Their parents could see an impaired, ugly heart in their children and they become upset with them. There are arguments, issues and violence in the house. Finally, they are forced to return the pieces back and mend their hearts. The boy’s father takes an ax and smashes his ugly heart into million pieces asking the girl to choose her pieces and take them back and the same happens with the girl’s heart.
The boy recognizes all his pieces and picks them carefully whereas the girl who is emotionally drained by seeing her broken heart couldn’t see her pieces clearly because of the tears in her eyes and she chooses as many as she can leaving the rest away drowning in ache and hurt. Finally, they move on in life as the boy holds his perfect heart in his hands, even though the cracks are visible but still he covers it up whereas the girl could never rebuild a perfect heart for herself….there are always pieces missing and she always remembers him whenever she sees those empty spaces…she knew that she will love him and nothing will change that for her. Nothing!
