Arnav was tying his laces when Seema interrupted," Arnav, not again. We have told you multiple times that you shall not waste time in sports. Rather, sit and study".

"But Mumma, I too told you that our matches are around the corner and I am the goalkeeper. Believe me, I will study as well", Arnav retorted.

But Seema refused to agree. Left with no option, Arnav missed the practice that day.

Arnav was a promising member of his school's football team. His coach would vouch on him. Even Arnav was passionate about it. Unfortunately, his parents could never understand his love for the game. Like other conventional parents, they also presumed it to be a wastage of time.

"Papa, if I play a good game this time, my Sir has promised to give my name for free coaching for the next year. Please Papa", Arnav pleaded.

"Arnav, don't talk like a small child. We want you to get good numbers and work in a good

MNC. Don't think you are Ronaldo or Pele", came the blunt reply.

Arnav felt discouraged. His parents would never understand his feelings, his passion.

Gradually, he lost his complete interest in studies and as a result, he flunked in two of his subjects.

"Doctor, our son is not paying attention in his studies. We are worried about his future. Please counsel him" said Arnav's father.

"Don't worry Mr. Kumar. I would like to talk to him alone", told Dr. Thapar. the psychiatrist.
