Mandira had to reach the event venue at 9:00 am but she was late. She was still in the hotel and it was already 9. She thanked her mom for booking this hotel as it was very close to her event venue. It would take her only 15 minutes to reach there if she left immediately. While walking down the hotel stairs she thought that this was a bit unusual for her to sleep so late. But maybe her sleeping late was an excuse. She couldn't sleep at night thinking about that strange man Mayank she met in her flight. When she finally fell asleep, she had a dream which was again unusual. No, her dreaming was not unusual but having a happy dream was unusual. Usually, she used to have nightmares instead of dreams, in which she was falling of a tall building or being bitten by snakes and stuff like that. In her dream last night, she dreamt that she met Mayank when she reached her event venue. Shaking her head and her stupid thoughts she glanced at her watch, she had reached the venue entrance and it was 9:10. She rushed inside.

Mandira had thought that 15 minutes was not very late and she could give an excuse that it's a new city for her. But, being the most adventurous trip of her life, she had to be surprised and horrified at the same time. As soon as she entered the event hall a lady and two gentlemen came to her and started talking to her in a not so gentle manner. They were telling her what she already knew, that she was 15 minutes late and this behavior was highly unprofessional behavior. She was there to give a presentation to her family business. This was an event where many people like her were there to give their presentation to pitch for a tender for a big business house. The lady and the gentlemen left her alone but not before telling her that she would have to give her presentation first and she had just 5 minutes to set her presentation on the projector.

Now, this was absolutely not what she had expected. Organizers had never earlier mentioned that they cared so much about punctuality. When she looked around, she realized that they didn't but there was someone else who did. She saw a tall man standing at some distance from her. He was also surrounded by the same lady and gentlemen who were talking to her a moment earlier. But with this man, their tone was exactly opposite. Rather they were apologetic. She concluded that he must be the one for whom the whole event was organized. When she looked at him again, he seemed familiar to her. But before she could give some more thought to this the lady operating the projector called her and she walked towards the corner where she was sitting.
