Father Back Home

One December morning, when the curtains were hiding the window, Alex woke but didn't dared to go out of home. Instead he went downstairs. He saw his brother, Fred, peeping through the window and the picked the shovel and go out. Alex heating his hands against the fire said "Ooh! I can't even think of going somewhere leaving this fire". Fred said sternly "And I can't be in the blanket for the whole day". Alex again started heating his hands in annoyance. When Fred goes out, he saw Mr. John, a rich but rude neighbour. Mr. John was sitting on the nearby bench while Fred was shoveling the walkway of his house. Then Fred finished his work and goes inside the house. Than a few moments later, he appeared on his gate with Alex and a basket. They both went to the market. After two days, there was a special day as there father was returning home from the office trip. They all started the arrangement from today. They all were so happy because it was nearly a fortnight without there father.

Then in the market there was not much crowd as usual. Even some of the shops were closed. Then the both noticed some men talking in an alley, not much far. But they ignored them and went for the grocery shop. When the arrived the shopkeeper had shut the door. And in a minute all the shops were being closed. Poor Alex and Fred, went to there home without spending a single penny. At night, there mother, who they called Jessy was in a hurry. She told them that their aunt is inflected by a virus. When the father will arrive he will be feeling so bad as he taken care of her. There was only 2 days left. That night they all decided to take care of their aunt. When they arrived, they saw that Frank, Cloe and Beth were already there. They all were the cousins of Alex and Fred. Seeing everyone together, their aunt was very happy and then recovering from the fever every minute. The next morning, their aunt and mother were awake and had made a chocolaty cake for them. When Alex, Fred and their mother went home, their father was already there. They all were surprised and speechless. The next day they all celebrated Christmas merrily.
