Father Back Home

One December morning, when the curtains were hiding the window, Alex woke up and went downstairs in the living room. There his brother, Fred was peeping through the window. Alex was heating his hands against the fireplace. Suddenly, Fred picked up the shovel and went out to shovel the walkway of their house. Alex rolled his eyes and said to himself "I can't even think of going outside leaving the fireplace". When Fred was shoveling suddenly Mr. John came. He was a rich but rude rodent. He scolded Fred because some of the snow was falling on his house by Fred's shoveling. Then Fred goes inside with annoyance.

A few moments later he appeared on their gate with Alex and a basket to go to the market. After a couple of days their father was coming back home from the office trip. They started the arrangement from today. They were so excited because it was nearly a fortnight without their father. When they arrived the market, all the shops were being closed. They were confused and had to go home without spending a single penny. When they arrived home, their mother, who they called Jessy was in a hurry. Their aunt was infected by a fever. They all were so tensed because their father took care of their aunt. They decided to stay with their aunt that night. When they arrived, they saw that Frank, Cloe and Beth were already there. They were cousins of Alex and Fred. Seeing everyone together, their aunt was so happy that she recovered every single minute. The next day when they woke up they saw that their mother and aunt were awake and made a chocolaty cake for them. Then they went back to their home. When they arrived, they saw that their father was already there. They all were so happy. The next day, there was Christmas. They all celebrated Christmas merrily.
