Fate Brought Them Together

Chapter-3

Aditi: How could you do this? How man, he left you without even saying goodbye. And now he came and you stupidly decided to meet him. Are you out of your mind? You don't know what he has done to you. He fu#*ing broke your heart. 

I calmed her down and then I said

Me: There must be some reason that's why he left me. You relax I'll meet him tomorrow and take all my answers. Don't worry about me I'll be fine. 

Aditi: Fine but I'll come with you, not for the whole day but for some time because I want to see the person who has broken my best friend's heart. 

Me: Fine but don't start your investigation in front of him. Promise? 

Aditi: Promise. 

Then she stayed at my place for the night. I told her everything about Saurav. She was happy to see me happy. But little did I knew that Saurav is going back to New York in 2 days therefore I didn't hope much from him. I decided that I'll take all my answers from him then only I'll let him go. 

Next day

I was excited to meet him but Aditi was more excited than me because she was going to meet that person who has stolen my heart for the past 10 years. She wants to see that person who was behind my random smiles and random sadness. We went to the place where I decided to meet Saurav. All our ways I was telling her to not over speak in front of him. Then we arrived. Saurav was already there waiting for me. 

Me: Hi Saurav. 

Saurav: Hello

Aditi: Oh! He is Saurav. Now I got why didn't you dated anyone else all those years.

After this, I told her to be quiet. 

Me: Saurav she is my bestfriend Aditi and Adu he is Saurav. 

Saurav: Hi Aditi.

Aditi gave him an angry look and he did know why she was like this. 

Saurav: Shall we go now? 

Me: Yeah, please. 

We started to walk towards the beach. On our way, we were doing some small talks and Aditi's anger flew away while talking to him, and in the middle of our way she was giving me some smiles. Then we arrived at the beach, we sat on the sand for about an hour without saying anything just watching the waves and people. Then Saurav speak immediately. 

Saurav: Arya can I speak to you in private. 

Me: Yeah sure.

Aditi: I will be waiting at the coffee shop. Just be quick. 

Then by standing up from the ground she winked at me and then left. 

Me: So? 

Saurav: So what? 

Me: You asked me to wait here and you wanted to talk to me. So be quick. 

He suddenly became serious.

Saurav: I am so sorry Arya. That day I proposed to you and then suddenly I left without saying goodbye. I am literally sorry about that. Please forgive me, Arya. 

I laughed for a moment by tearing in my eyes. But they didn't come out. I wanted to say something but my voice paused I didn't have words to say that time. 

Saurav: Please Arya say something. Be angry with me, please scold me but please talk to me. I know I hurt you but I have my reasons. 

Me: Right you have your reasons. That day I was standing there for hours, you didn't show up. I called you. I texted you. But you didn't reply. After that day I didn't sleep well. I went into depression for months. I went to your school there I got to know that you left this city then also every evening at 4 I used to go to that street with the hope that I'll see you. 10 years passed I didn't date anyone because I love you and you... 

I started to cry. He holds me for some time. 

Saurav: My dad died that evening. He suicided. We have nothing at that moment all money was theft by someone. My mom's parents live in New York that's why we went there. 

I tried to forget you. I knew you will be upset with me. But every day I wake up with your thoughts. I never got a chance to come back here and when I got, I am here in front of it. 

I chocked for a moment then I realized that I was not the only one who was suffering from hidden thoughts. He lost his dad and he was also a kid at that time so it's not his fault. 

Me: I am sorry about your dad. 

Saurav: It's okay. 

Me: Can I ask you something? 

Saurav: You don't have to take permission for asking anything from me. 

Me: Do you still love me? 

Saurav: I never stopped loving you. 

I smiled with tears in my eyes. Those tears were not of pain and sadness those were of happiness. That day I realized that if we weren't separated at that time. Then we were here loving each other. I jumped into his arms and cried and with chocked voice I said. 

Me: Saurav I love you so much. I want to be with you forever and ever. Will you marry me. 

He smiled and said

Saurav: There is no one else I would marry rather than you. 

After a few days, we told our parents about us and they agreed to our marriage. After a year we got married and stayed together forever. 

You will always get your true love. If it is meant to be it will happen. Don't worry. True love will be parted at a time to tell you how important it is to love someone and be with someone but it will surely come by your side when you both will be ready for your life.
