Eye On Eye
Eye On Eye
Richa was enjoying the view standing beside the garden area of the hotel in the cold gust of wind. She heard a voice calling her. Turning back she saw her boss who was even her friend, Aryan scolding her, “You were told to be on leave for rest. What are you doing here with your fractured hand?”.
“I had to take an urgent interview. What about you?”She replied. “Stop lying! I am here to keep eye on an eye”. Before she could ask something, her phone rang and she rushed.
She entered the room and started fixing some hidden cameras and mikes. A waiter signalled of someone coming and they rushed out closing the door. Coming near her room, she realized she had left her key in that room. Thinking not safe to be there, she rushed to the garden area. She saw her mobile screen. She could see 3 men entered the room and were discussing something about bombs. It seemed they were terrorists. She was happy for spotting the gang but confused about what to do next.
There she saw a man standing near her with a gun in hand. He told her to follow him and that would be good for her. Her heartbeats increased and she did as he said. They entered the room. One man blasted at her, “You stupid reporter! You have made a big mistake. Now pay for it.” They were almost going to make her a human bomb when the door splashed open. Aryan was standing there with the police team. Terrorists were caught. Aryan whispered in Richa’s ears, ”I told you, keeping eye on an eye.”
They got exclusive breaking news for their channel. Richa was welcomed with flowers and a promotion letter in her office.
