"No mom, i am not celebrating Diwali this year, I have too much work to do." Saying it Raghav disconnected the call.
"Son is not coming home this year for celebration so I will not celebrate as well, " Raghav's mother said to her husband.
Let's know about this family...
Raghav was the only son of his parents he had no siblings, so he got a pampered upbringing. He was acumen in studies and watching the dreams to be an officer that's why after completing his graduation he was asking to his father to allow him to go for the CS preparation. It was arduous for the parents to allow their only son to go away from the home.
During his graduation he met a very sincere girl (Ayesha), they became friends and gradually they got into the relationship. Both of them were sincere and focused and the girl used to motivate Raghav because it was quite easy for someone to demotivate Raghav that it's not easy for you to achieve your goal.
On the other side parents allowed him to go to Delhi for the preparation. So, he went there and after 1 month his behavior was totally changed, he was full of negative approaches that it's not a cake to eat to crack the examination. Watching the surrounding he was forgetting his strength, with the growing time he was suppressing his interests from his pleasing moments and also not giving a good response to his caring and loving partner just for his exam.
2 year was to complete. He did not celebrate any moment between this time period, and he was not able to clear the exam in first attempt, so he started preparation again with this same approach. Without any joy he was going in depression he was working more than his mind capacity; he was eating too much but not digesting his diet. Time was running fast but now he was well prepared for his 3rd attempt.
In the exam hall he was thinking about his partner, parents and friends because he didn't give a great response to all of them in these 4 years due to his preparation and he was missing all of them badly, reminding the moments of his fun with all of them he was brainwashed in exam. He was thinking a lot that why I want to be an officer, will I celebrate alone of my success, shouldn't I talk to all of them? Did I waste my 4 years?
I want to live happy not luxury and I'm not feeling happy. These kinds of questions were knocking the mind of Raghav. Raghav left the exam with 0 attempt.
Now he was asking God to take him 4 years back because he wants to start with all of his supportive characters. But time never returns he lost his 4 years and exam both and he didn't enjoy any festival and moment. He got knowledge, but he didn't get self-satisfaction with his life.
This story tells us that many attachments in life can be dangerous in future just make sure that you are not on wrong path and not doing wrong anything otherwise you will miss all your smiling moments that can't be created again and again.
Achieve your goals with your supportive companions and family and don't he demotivate with your surrounding and don't take decisions with surrounding's influence.
I hope you will not be the next Raghav.
