Detective Ro Chapter 3

A fictitious story

Ro learns that Akil's wife is bedridden from a visitor there and knocks on the door of Akil's house.

Akil sees him and asks him what you want?

What happened to my father Jp?

Akil's wife gets up from sleep and Akil says Rohit please lower your voice and come to my room.

Rohit nods his head.

Akil manages by saying something to his wife and gets into the room.

Akil says how come you know I am related to your father Jp.

My father has stored these details for me.

Ok, what is your name? Asks Akil.

Rohit says his name.

Let me share your father's life events before his disappearance.

Your father resigned from his job in the post office.

He developed his detective agency by getting a loan from a bank.

One day his detective agency was closed by officials as your father Jp released the details of a case of bank burglary directly in news.

Your father desperately tried and worked in many ways to repay the loan.

He got an offer to work as the detective in Andaman islands for catching the drug leaders.

One day your mother came to my station pleading for help to find her husband Jp as he does not contact her for more than a month.

Rohit further looks at some evidence sent by his father lastly from the Andaman  islands.

He looks at the medical bills of his father and learns he is under medication unable to cope up with his hectic job of finding the drug leaders.

Rohit travels to the Andaman islands and officers verify his identity.

He meets a native Indian living in Andaman and narrates the list of incidents.

He asks him to visit doctor Alphonse who is the only psychiatrist available in Andaman  islands.

Alphonse welcomes Rohit and listens to all the narration of Rohit.

Alphonse takes Rohit to the kitchen and sees an aged Jp cooking.

When Rohit tries to call Jp as  father, Alphonse quietens him.

Alphonse explains Rohit due to stress his father's old memories are completely lost and I treated him well which helps in regaining the old memories.

But I could not Rohit. And Jp took his own identity as a cook.

Please do not stress him by telling him all the old incidents of his life, please I request you Rohit.

Rohit cries and asks Alphonse to take good care of his father.

Bama asks Rohit upon return did he find her husband Jp?

Rohit lies that Jp has moved to the US and started a new life there.

Bama cries and falls down unable to bear the truth.

Rohit cries and thinks his mother can accept this lie rather than telling the truth about her husband Jp.
