Closed Windows

In two different apartments and the windows connected.

Some smiles, some bye-byes, some good nights, some long talks on calls yet facing each other...

Sometimes it was all casual, sometimes a habit and sometimes a need and sometimes it was essential.

It has been a little long. Now my eyes learned the art of avoiding that direction.

Still, there are days in which the aura of our memories drench my nights and thirst in my eyes scratch my heart.

I smile, I move on because I know, that window is meant to be closed forever.
