Civilization

I was born in a village in India. Since a young age, I dreamt of settling in California. The reason was that my uncle lived in California and used to bring chocolates from that country. I used to be very proud in showing those chocolates to my friends. When I grew up, as I decided, I got a chance to pursue my higher studies. I accepted it without any confusion in my mind. Few of my friends were jealous of me. They said you might see plenty of hot girls over there and you may enjoy your life over there. I too thought the same. As soon as I reached California, I got several friends over there. Luckily among them many of them were girls. The girls over there don't think that they must be in a limited relationship with boys. I used to go to bar and pub with them. Drink, dance and spent some hot moments over there. I also got a job over there. As soon as I got my job, I applied for citizenship over there and got it. Then love came into my life. I took her to my nation. My relatives were not happy about my decision in marriage. But I didn't mind them. With my parent's permission, I married her. This time I asked my parents to come with us to California but they denied to come with me. I was confused about there decision. I thought "How is it possible for someone to not have an interest in living in this beautiful city."

But during this short span, my wife got attracted to my culture and she liked to live so. She used to wear Saree and she joined a class to learn Tamil language. She soon became like an Indian girl. As I was well settled with western culture, I still used to go to pub and enjoy my nights but my wife didn't like it. She spoke to me regarding this. But I thought she has become mad. Then she planned to bring me back to Indian culture. From my parents, she got some of my childhood photos. She showed it to me. Seeing each and every photo, I used to say a big story (a happy moment). At the end, she said "True happiness is this. Instant happiness will always create a problem in future." I realised my mistakes and then took her with me to India to settle there."

Now, I was feeling really happy with my parents and relatives, who took care of me at my young age.
