Cheers To Our New Journey

Today we completed 10 years of our relationship and for the first time he is not here to celebrate it. He is on a business trip to London and yesterday he messaged me he won't be able to come due to work load. My friends came today and asked me to treat them to a grand meal, though I wasn't in the mood to go but they didn't listen so I got ready and went. I don't know where they were taking me, it's been 3 hours since we are in car and whenever I ask them where are we going? They don't tell me anything.

When we are about to reach the destination they covered my eyes. It feels like they are going to do some prank. They guide me through the way and then said open ur eyes. I did and you know what ? He was standing right in front of me , I can't believe my eyes. He came and hugged me tight. He said " I MISSED YOU A LOT". We both came into senses when our friends started hooting. And after that I realised we were in Mussoorie.

He has booked a cottage. Then he went inside for something and came with a large bouquet. He bend down on his knees and bring out the ring from his pocket and said "WILL YOU MARRY ME". The day I have been waiting for so long has finally come. I said " YES YES YESSS I WILL MARRY YOU". He smiled and kissed my forehead and hugged me. Later on, I asked him why did he lie to me that he won't be able to come? And he said " because you love surprises and I want to make this day more special and memorable for you ".

Indeed this day is the most special and memorable day of my life. Thank you is not enough to tell how blessed I'm to have him in my life. And cheers to our new journey.
