Chapter 2: A side they never knew

After finishing their work, Aarav closed his laptop.
“That's enough for today.”
Naina nodded and packed her books.
“Tomorrow, we need to complete the presentation.”
“I know.”
They walked out of the library together but separated at the corridor.
“I'll see you tomorrow,” Aarav said.
“Yeah.”
They both went to their respective classrooms.
The rest of the day passed normally.
Classes ended.
Students slowly left the campus, laughing and talking about their plans for the evening.
Naina was about to leave when she noticed Aarav walking alone toward the back gate.
She stopped.
Something about him seemed different.
He wasn't heading toward the hostel.
He wasn't meeting his friends.
He was walking toward the old road behind the college.
Naina watched him for a moment.
“Where is he going?”
Curiosity won.
She quietly followed him.
Aarav didn't notice her.
He walked through a narrow street and finally stopped in front of a small building.
Naina hid behind a wall and watched.
Aarav looked around to make sure nobody was watching.
Then he entered.
Naina slowly moved closer.
She looked through the half-open door.
And froze.
Aarav wasn't studying.
He wasn't working on their project.
He was sitting on the floor beside a little boy who was doing his homework.
Aarav smiled and handed him a notebook.
“Try this one again. You can do it.”
The boy looked at the question.
“I don't understand.”
Aarav patiently explained it.
After a few minutes, the boy finally solved it.
His face lit up.
“I got it!”
Aarav smiled.
“See? I told you.”
Naina couldn't believe what she was seeing.
The boy suddenly asked,
“Will you come tomorrow too?”
Aarav nodded.
“Of course.”
Naina looked around.
There were several other children in the small room.
Old books were stacked in one corner.
A few broken chairs had been repaired and arranged into a classroom.
Aarav had clearly been coming here for a long time.
Naina whispered to herself,
“Why didn't I know about this?”
Then Aarav stood up.
He picked up a box filled with books and started giving them to the children.
One of the children hugged him.
Naina's eyes softened.
This was the same Aarav who constantly irritated her in college.
The same Aarav who always competed with her.
The same Aarav she thought she knew.
But she had never seen this side of him.
Aarav suddenly turned toward the door.
Naina quickly stepped back and hid behind the wall.
He looked outside for a few seconds.
Then went back inside.
And after that he went to the restaurant and serves the food as a waiter to maintain his life and balance with study and life.
He was really working hard and he spreads his knowledge to the children without expecting anything back.
Naina slowly walked away.
For the first time, she wasn't thinking about marks.
She wasn't thinking about rankings.
She wasn't thinking about beating Aarav.
She was thinking about one question.
Who was Aarav Mehta when nobody was watching?
And for some reason...
she suddenly wanted to know.
The next day Naina was looking Aarav differently not as same as before . She really wanted to know why he was doing all this lonely.
   At afternoon Naina got a call from her family and she raised her voice in the phone ,Aarav noticed..
After that they both are working on project work and Naina was curious but she don't want to know immediately she wants to watch more and observe him..
But Aarav asked Naina why you was shouting on your phone earlier.. Naina thought for a second and said it's nothing..and continued their project..
Even Aarav was curious why is she always anger on her phone..
But they both kept silent and ready to know each other's life .
After the college Aarav wanted to follow Naina but Naina also waiting to follow him ..
They both are looking each other cluelessly but they look cute together.
But Aarav getting late so Aarav moved first then Naina forward to move back after him he done the same as before day like teaching children and working late hours .Naina immediately went back to her home because she know the story but not the reason..so she moved.. at the same time Aarav saw Naina was going back from his place so he started to doubt .
    But he saw the different Naina who is curious about other life and she looks cute with doubtful face ,he admired her even the wind helped him to admire. But he want to know also about her.
    The next day he waa silent , didn't ask anything about yesterday. Just they are doing their project work . She was seeing him generously and admiring him. He saw her looking at him . He asked what are you doing she replied nothing just seeing you that's all ,why there is no right to look at you for me .. He said oooo cool I said asked that's all ..
After that he wanted to follow the naina because he wanted to know about naina why she was angry all the time on the phone and  Why she was really afraid of her parents. So he want to follow naina.after the project work, naina moved without waiting for him. He Followed naina after the project work.  because he wanted to know the truth.
He was shocked.Because naina's house was big and very beautiful.But nina's parents were really tough. She doesn't want to study, but her parents forced her to study and they always called her to get more marks.Even though she didn't like that. She was being abused by her parents to get higher marks in the class because of their parents cruelty but she doesn't like even that . Her parents scold her everyday.So he thought why she has no friends...he realised by seeing that. Naina always cries in her room only her pillow knows to how much she tear her eyes.
     He saw the whole thing and moving from the place silently.. He was terrified by seeing that , he was feeling for her..
The next morning they saw each other they both are looking each other because they both know their lifes... They were staring at each other with a distance....
