She stood with her elegant eyes searching for someone, her hair flying in the breeze. Dark clouds of fear enveloped her hands and legs, which became slightly cold, but the love in her never let hope slide off. She spotted it! A bundle of glowing fireflies in a jar coming towards the castle, her heart danced in the rain of joy. "I knew it! He will never break his promise!" her gut screamed in excitement. But the thought of her uncle squeezed lemons into her happiness. She felt a hug from behind, a hug which was priceless; it had all the love and affection she had ever imagined from her parents, who now are the stars in the sky. A drop of tear rolled down her cheeks and fell on the ground, showing how grateful she was for the Supreme powers. He turned her around, gently lifted her face, looked deep into her eyes, wiped her soft cheeks, held her hands, and said, "Tears don't suit you." Her smile revealed a charming dimple on her face. "You kept your promise," she told in a soft and sweet tone. "My promise is not done yet, hurry up! We don't have the powers to stop the time," he said when his eyes glanced at his watch. It was exactly "2 am 15 min 21 sec," the time that would change her life. "Let's make this Christmas the most memorable one," saying this, he held her waist with a hand and the zip line with another and jumped off from the window. Her castle was on top of the most stunning and green-filled forest; it welcomed them with a blanket of snow on the ground as a red carpet. She had a huge fear of heights, but today he made that the most beautiful scene in her life. She held his jacket tight when their foot touched the ground. "Thank you so much; you risked your life for me." Breaking her sentence, he took a deep breath and said, "You are my life; I had to take a risk to save my own life, and besides, I could never accept your uncle's marriage proposal." She started laughing. He: "Stop laughing." She: "I couldn't control my laughter imagining you next to my cousin sister on the wedding day!" He: "You imagined that hippopotamus with me..." He acted as though he was angry, but on the inside, he was happy to see a real smile on her face. He pulled her into his arms and carried her until his castle. Looking at his worry-free eyes, she said, "Now, what will you tell my uncle because if he gets to know about this, then he will try his best to make my life miserable, and moreover, I heard you had an important meeting with the other ministers because of me; you got into so many problems." He looked into her soul and whispered, "You are the most important for me, and about your uncle, I really don't care; I will never let him do anything to you." His sentences always made a way through her heart, and this one too did the same. He softly put her down when they stood in front of his castle; his parents were very happy to see her next to him. They welcomed them with a warm and tender heart. He dragged her into his room; she saw the most glorious Christmas tree. It looked like the 8th wonder of the world. He held her hands, made her sit on the fluffy seat, gave her hands a glass of wine, and a dazzling ring to her fingers; he said, "As I promised, here we are celebrating your first-ever Christmas with love as a special chief guest." She smiled like a dawn and said, "Looking at you, I feel like promises are not always made to be broken; it can also be a special and a sweet thing a person who really loves you does it for you and only you!"
