American prison

Ricky and I were stern to elope but my father's death changed it all. We found him dead, covered in his own blood. The bullet has stuck in his brain. When police came and investigation started, Mr. Fitts was questioned. He showed them the home video Ricky shot in which I said, "Someone should put him out of misery," and he replied with acceptance. 

When we were shooting that video we were only taping our intimate moments, we had no idea it would be seen in such a way. Police arrested Ricky and I for allegedly killing my own father. There was noway we could defend ourselves, even though we were innocent. They had prove in which Ricky accepted to murder my dad and worst that I asked him to. Though it didn't prove that we did but we were subjected to pay for a crime we didn't commit. During those lonely days in jails, I would wonder Mr. Fitts lied. Why did he even let his own son go to jail?

There was nothing to do in the prison but think. Thinking how our lives could have been different. Thinking what I would have been doing if my dad wasn't murdered. What my mum was doing.....maybe he had married that Kane guy or maybe they're just doing it without any strings. She must have forgotten me. I would wonder what Ricky might be doing in his cell. If he was alright or he was being tortured by fellow prisoners as I was. Maybe he was responsible for my fate. If I hadn't fallen for him, I wouldn't be there. It was his weird hobby of recording stuff that lead us there.

I'd rarely get any mail and when they did, they were mostly during holidays but one day, I remember, I got a mail in the summer. I had no idea who the sender was but when I opened the mail, I got further more questions.

It was a picture of Mr. Fitts in his uniform with some guy. His arms were wrapped around that man's shoulders. Their sweat-wet bodies were pressed against each other. There was no doubt at some point, they were a thing. Is that why he hated homosexuals so much because he himself was a closet gay and he was afraid that Ricky too was gay.
