Affection

Sagar has joined this bank just a few months ago. In this short time span, he has been able to remember the faces of only a few customers, especially the pensioners who come every month. Among those old people, there is one woman who comes with her son. The son is very careful with his mother; he always holds the hand of his mother and doesn't leave it for a short while. Their bond always makes Sagar happy.

   

One day, after their departure, Sagar has to go outside for some business. There he suddenly notices that old lady trying to call for a rickshaw. Surprised Sagar cannot control himself to go to her and ask, "Aunty, where is your son?"

"He has gone home."

"Then, why are you here alone?"

The hesitant voice replies, "Actually, we don't live together. He left me after getting married. Every month he takes me to the bank for the withdrawal of my pension. Then taking half of it, he returns back."

"What? It's wrong. Why are you tolerating all these? If he can't take care of you, then why do you care for him?"

The lady gives a painful smile and replies, "It's all about maternal affection beta, maternal affection... You kids will never understand..."
