Affair

This story is about two people who met on social media and started their love affair without meeting each other in reality and dumped it like a mystery. 

Sam was an independent lady. She was a working lady as well. She separated herself from her family when she was just 23 because her parent got separate and started their life with new partners and Sam also felt to separate herself from them as she was not interested to be a stone in her parent's life as they were living with another family and new member's. 

It was 6:00 am, Sam was sleeping and suddenly her phone rang with a notification bell. She started rubbing her eyes and she woke up, took her phone in the hand and checked the notification bar.

It was a notification from Facebook. She ignored and left the phone on the table again and started snoring again. She slept more for a while.

After sleeping for an hour again she woke up and started her day with her morning routine. After a shower, she came back to her room and started to dress up as she was used to restaurant food. She always do the breakfast outside. So she got ready to take her phone and other necessary stuff with her and left for breakfast.

Having breakfast she started checking her phone and logged in to Facebook, her eye caught a new friend request. She started checking the profile of the requester. It was from a guy namely Summit. She found his profile quite interesting and she started scrolling his recent posts. After completing the check-up she accepted his request.

She left the restaurant and visited her friend. They were busy with their stuff as Sam was on leave so she decided to hang out with her friends. These days she was also much active on social media. Summit after some time sent her a text, And Sam also replied in a good way.

Leaving her friends home she came back home. And started chatting with the summit. And somehow Sam also began to put the same effort into this social media friendship. They texted each other like they were knowing each other for a long time. Sam started ignoring her friends too who she was close in real life. Because she was too engaged with Summit. They understood each other in a good way and started trusting each other(Summit and SAM). She found that he was much understanding, cooperative, supportive, and trustworthy than others. So she continued the friendship with him. She used to go to the office in a good way but she started maintaining a distance from everybody as she was only interested in Summit's friendship.

Days passed the friendship grew more and more both started developing feelings for each other as well and also both shared their other contacts, pictures, videos with each other. They trusted each other as friends do.

After 3 years Summit decided to propose to her as he was knowing that Sam will never reject him because they were one soul in two bodies now. Whenever they felt alone they used to call each other or whatever happens in their life they used to share everything no secrets and no lies. Without meeting in real life still, they used to feel everything. Every relationship or friendship requires communication and in them, that was in a good form.

So Summit encouraging himself to the proposal, one day on the call he said her that he loves her. And Sam in a shy behavior told him that she will call him after a while.

Summit waiting for an hour received her text. “We are in this friendship for the last 3 years and I trust you wholeheartedly, I also feel incomplete without you and I don't want to lose you, and I was waiting for this thing to happen, so i am ready for this beautiful step. I love you too Summit".

The summit in joy calls her and gives her a lot of love by his words. And he also decides to date her. But Sam refuses for some time because of her personal issues.

She assured him that she will stay loyal to him. As she was not close to anyone without him and Summit also accepted what she said. As their understanding was too good.

Years passed but both were yet in an affair without a date, but the communication was in continuity.

One day Sam visited a patient in a hospital and she lost her phone there was no backup neither she had any contact with Summit she tried her best to find her phone but failed. As Sam and Summit were too distant from each other it was impossible for her to find him. She never asked him where he was living in Bangalore. So losing her phone was losing her affair with Summit forever as well. She got worried. Days passed without communication she was not remembering his contact details. In a relationship she made Summit delete his social accounts as well because she felt his social accounts for their relationship bad, so she forced him to delete that all, so she was left with nothing to get contacted. She fell ill by this nuisance. Because she was madly in love with Summit. She was addicted to him. He was like a drug for him without talking to him she used to fell ill.

Summit also didn't bother to contact her because before a day when Sam lost her phone she had a quarrel with Summit, both left each other for a day without calls and texts. And Summit was thinking that she is yet angry, that's why she didn't bother to text him. And Summit too stayed with his ego. He thought that she will call him on her own but unfortunately, the plans of destiny left him in a shock.

Sam started taking depression pills as she suffered from depression, she took the medicines in a large amount which damaged her liver. After a few months, she started ailing badly and she was shifted to the hospital.

They admitted her as she was in a serious and bad condition. She lived there just for 2 days and died because she was missing Summit badly.

When Summit called her so many times, he found her phone switched off, he understood that something was wrong. So he decided to take off to Meerut where Sam was living. He confirmed her they're and visited her home. As Sam gave Summit her address when they used to talk. But Sam forgot to ask his address too, unfortunately. The plans of destiny are sometimes too cruel.

Summit talked to her neighbors and they told him that she is no more. Summit slapped the man and said, “are you mad what you are saying she can't die, she can't leave me like this we have to get married, call her I just want to talk to her I know I hurt her but I came here only to apologize".

The man came up with the circular container. He fell down on his knees when they gave him her ashes in that circular container as she was having nobody. So her neighbors felt that he will take care of that. He cried and left with the ashes of her beloved girlfriend who he never saw in reality.

The motive behind writing this story is that you never know what another person is suffering from and if you are in a relationship whether it is social or antisocial try to apologize as early as possible. Don't stop communication.
