Alia was a girl who was never sad. She always smiled and used to be happy. She used to say that life is too short to cry.

A girl named Saira had just joined Alia’s school. Alia noticed that she used to be sad all the time. She wanted to know what she was going through but Saira did not talk to anyone. Saira was not good at studies, she was new to this environment. Whenever Alia tried to talk to her she used to go somewhere else and become sadder. For her it looked like she was in some other world, everyone was invisible to her.

Alia couldn’t resist and really wanted to talk to her, So she went to her and started speaking really fast so that Saira would not get the time to run away.

Alia said… “Hi, I’m Alia. Please don’t be sad. You can tell me your problem. I will try my best to help you”.

Siara needed a break so she explained her problem while Alia listened to it carefully and tried to find a solution.

Saira said that she was sad as she had to leave her friends and school and move to this city because of her father’s transfer. She missed everyone and felt lonely. Because of this she was not able to concentrate on her studies and was having a tough time in this school. She was also facing a challenge to cope up in the class as the syllabus was completely different. Oh! said Alia, “How about I teach you the basics of what we are doing in school”?

“Oh my god that would be great” said Saira.

Alia invited Saira to her home to teach her. They started hanging out together and Alia helped Saira a lot in understanding the concepts.

Soon, Saira started coming at par in the class and they both became best friends. Alia was the reason Saira could smile and even adjust well to the new surroundings.
