A Message
This is a message to my fellow students, their parents, and their teachers.
Firstly, I want to say something to my fellow students, who have given board exams of 10th standard and are waiting for results. Friends, I know it's hard. I know many of you doubt if you will even pass. I know many of you have nightmares. But, believe me, these results do not tell about the artist in you. Results do not tell about the talent in you. Please friends, do not be too much centered on marks and studies. It will only disappoint us. No, I'm not saying to quit studies. We have to study, and we will study. Together. But, do not be too dependent on results. Instead, be dependent on what you love, because as long as you know you are good at something, the rest doesn't matter. Please, focus on knowledge and education, not on marks and studies. Getting high marks doesn't make us a good person. And that's what we have to do— become a good person. So friends, let us devote ourselves, not to getting high marks and becoming a good student, but to getting moral education and becoming a good person.
Now, my uncles and aunties, the parents of my fellow students, I want to say something to you. I know you want your children to be the best. But, believe me, Sharmaji doesn't even care about your children. So, why do you force your children to get good marks just to show Sharmaji? Please, don't compare us with anyone. All of us are unique. Please, let us fo
llow our hearts. Please, let us be artists, because that's the only way to express ourselves, and if we don't express ourselves, we will die of sadness. And you want good marks, right? Then please, don't make your love a reward for getting good marks only. Please, love your children unconditionally, because that's what we need the most. Show your children that no matter what their marks say, they are best. Unconditional love can not only make your children a good student, but also a good person. And that's what humanity needs the most.
And lastly, I want to say something to all the teachers. I know you work very hard, that your job is the hardest in the whole world. I know that you want every student to be a better version of themself. But, you see, the whole system is wrong. It is result-oriented. What about the process? The whole system is so fast, so unstable, that every student just wants to get good marks. Teachers, please, tell them that marks only are not true education. Tell them the difference between the right and the wrong, between the good and the bad. Right now, the system is so bad that it is only making criminals of students. And teachers, only you can change it. Your work is to make humanity better. So please, remind the students what they have forgotten. Remind them of the importance of respecting elders, of helping those in need. Remind them of the importance of becoming a good person. That's the only way to help humanity.
