A Life Of Dignity

In the city of Shea, everyone was corrupt. People would only think of their own benefit and literally never speak up when they saw injustice happen. The police would hear people's complaints but never did anything for the people. They followed the policy of self love to the extent that they would listen to only things which benefited them. This all continued for a while until one day there was a massive earthquake and many buildings collapsed.

All the people came out of their houses and faced a horrible time. The thieves had no house to steal. No one had money to bribe the police. It was as if the entire world had changed for them. The few honest people started rebuilding the city. However, all the corrupt people left the city. They roamed around the country but everywhere they went, they saw that people didn't accept them and instead asked them to send the honest people of Shea instead. T

hey believed that even if they allow one bad person from Shea their whole city will be spoiled. After many months all the people who had left Shea returned to the city. However, by now the police officers had changed and the corrupt officers had left for a more opportunistic city. The corrupt people realized that they could no longer get away with their wrongdoings and promised to live an honest life. They started afresh and now always spoke up whenever they saw or heard any injustice is happening to anyone. Shea prospered and became one of the happiest cities in the world.
