A Land Of Fantasies

I slammed the door shut behind me and I found myself in an unknown place. The sudden burst of swirling colors and happy faces left me in awe.

Curiosity overtook me and I ignored the riddle warning me.

"Enjoy while it lasts,

Remember to follow the path.

If you go astray,

Obstacles will come in your way!"

And I strolled off the track, paying attention only to the unlimited supply of candy and the never-ending arcades filled with games. But soon it dawned upon me; this fantasy land was indulging me in its beauty, making me forget my true identity.

In this place where problems ceased to exist, and wonders beyond words endured, I was tempted to stay for longer. But I knew this place was not forever, I still had a place called home and a family of my own. My imagination left me, and I returned to reality. To the place, I truly belonged in.
