A Journey of My Life

(From unprivileged child to blessed father)

Acknowledgment

The almighty God is the greatest magician for  His role in the sculpture life of every living being on the planet Earth. He is mysterious and His every act is a legend. According to my thought, it is beyond one's imagination and expectations. I always pray to the universal creator to bestow his blessings more to each and every person to which I blended with the marvellous scene which I do not think of in my dream and pretend that I was faced with demon situations.

PREFACE

The idea of writing of autobiography of my life flashed after landing at Boston airport. The aim of writing the span of my journey is that the life which I experienced must be shared with coming generations. If there is some substantial matter in spending, awakening, wearing, playing, working, interacting with the concerned society, maybe thought by them  The day and date came to start on Monday and 15 March 2019.

Throughout the span, I experienced that life is like a field of battle. According to me atrocities of nature and society around build the person to perfection. Nature and society test the person at each possible angle first at the cost of his survival and makes the person stronger by its actions. One must be ready to stand firmly according to the law of nature to face its action. Whatsoever the situation arises before one, its result depends upon the act of perceiving its positive or negative aspect. Accordingly One develops an attitude to react to the situation and finally it becomes an integral part of one's personality.

I remember a poem written by renowned Hindi Poet "Ayodhya Singh Upadhyay  Hariaudh" on EK BOOND at this time. I feel " thinking of The Drop"  is the nearest to the reality in my life.

The English version of the poem is written as follows.

as leaving the bosom of the clouds

a little drop of water had proceeded a bit ahead

she started thinking again and again

Oh! Why did I leave my home like this?

O destiny, what would be my fate

will I live or get swallowed up by dust,

or would I burn out by falling on some fire?

or I will land on a lotus blossom?

At that moment came a gust of breeze

and carried her unheeding to the sea

a beautiful oyster was open

where she fell and became a pearl

People often hesitate and think

when they have to leave their home

But quite often, leaving their homes

transforms them like the tiny drop of water

Before bringing thought of writing about my life, I wish to express sincere thanks to the almighty God who has strengthened my hands and brain to express and facilitate to describe of the unprecedented journey of life from  (a)  village hut, Birher ( Near Bank of river SARAYU, a tributary of river Ghaghara ), Ayodhya  India to  VOX, Concord (Near  Charles River), Boston USA (b)  Primary Education on Yadav School, Gwaltoli to presenting a paper entitled in the National Meet on Celebration of National Year of Mathematics -2012 organised by NCERT, New Delhi ( C) Rented room at Gwaltoli to own residence "Ritumbhara" at Kalyanpur, Kanpur.

1. UNPRIVILEGED CHILDHOOD

My life starts from the agony of an unbelievable journey to pleasant moments. At this moment  I never forget my beloved mother, next to God, who sculptured me from the base of an unprivileged son to a blessed father. She got only primary education in her maternal village Hut, Mohibpur ( Fattepur) Ambedkar Nagar, UP. She initiated to teach me up to class IV at home. She determined to continue my study further and wished to build me into a highly educated person. She always said she would do any kind of job at the cost of continuity of my education. She served herself as a maid cook in Bangalow of partner /owner of Bharat Shakti diesel  Engine  Factory  and as a peon in Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri  Middle  School   ( Private) in Gwaltoli, Kanpur (U.P.)

It is unfortunate to state that I don't know much about my birthplace (Birher Village mud  Hut) and time of birth. Therefore I as well as my mother did not know the exact date of my birth.  My Core family was cursed by ill-village customs and devil faiths. According to saying of my mother, her two children were expired. She was much worried about my life when I was born as her third child. I was also very serious when I was at the age of one and half years. I suffered from the second stage of Pneumonia and became very serious. She had nothing to expense on saving my life. She wandered here and there and reiterated one doctor to another doctor and wept with her folding hands for saving my life. Ultimately she went to the residence cum clinic of One generous Dr. Naveen Chand,  Nawab Ganj, Kanpur, and fell at his feet and begged and said that she had nothing to spend for saving the life of her son. He understood her situation and gave me free treatment for me.  In fact,   I was the male member of our weaker socio-economic family.  I was totally innocent about the pathetic  episode  from Birher  village hut Ambedkar Nagar, to Kanpur, U.P. After a long time, about 40 years, I went to my birthplace and met my relatives with the help of my cousin sister

.

My father was not acquainted with the importance of education due to his illiteracy. He was dead against forwarding my education. His each and every act were to stagnate my further study. Belongings to me were the ultimate father, mother, and two younger sisters. My primary education was started under the guidance of my beloved mother. Consequently, I was one of the best students during the study of primary classes and middle classes. I was admitted in class first and completed study up to Fifth class in Yadav School, Gwaltoli, and then continued study from Sixth to Eighth class in Junior High School, Gwaltoli. I  got a scholarship at the rate of Rs 5.00 per month for 3  years (from classes 6th  to 8th) with a nominal tuition fee i.e. Rs 00.37 per month also.

Respected Shri Rewati Lal Yadav, Science Teacher was our class teacher. He was my favorite teacher. He loved me so much. After the retirement of the English Teacher in August 1967, there was a complete blank period for English for VI Class throughout the Year 1967. Not only this, there was a completely blank in forthcoming sessions. he initiated to teach English grammar wilfully for VIII class in such time in addition to teach Science subject. It shows his greatness and generosity. I am grateful to him and he was always remembered from the bottom of my heart for proper guidance and solving proper in Maths for IX Class. Two Muslim classmates Mohd Kasim and Mohd Nabi were jealous of my progress so they have stolen my all textbooks for class 7th from my bag which was left in a classroom during morning assembly. I and my mother were shocked by this act. I became helpless and wept internally. It was too difficult to purchase the book set further.

The ultimate father was a textile worker at Elgin Mills up to about  1965. Due to some unpleasant reasons, he left service and came to the road due to unemployment. This unbearable period ended after  3 years. He was again employed as a temporary textile worker in Victoria Cotton Mills in 1966 at Gwaltoli, Kanpur, U.P.  Now he became a less salaried casual worker. He had to work as private civil labour on his leave days at Muslim's bungalow. After some working days, he was injured due to the falling of bricks on his toe. During that period, my mother birth a male child in the month of October 1968 ( exact date not known ) and he was dead after 6 days due to infection of Tetanus disease.  It was too hard to feed hand to mouth for daily routine so he used part-time work in a business of selling vegetables on a manual cart. The father usually compelled me to cooperate with his part-time job so  I was constrained to involve in his job of selling vegetables on the cart. For earning purposes, I used to pull a manual rickshaw at night.

2. STRUGGLE  AT THE ADOLESCENCE STAGE

Noble nature provided us to spend my adolescence period a room of area of 2.5m x 3.5 m  with one single window ( 1x1 square foot )covered by Concreted roof of G.I. Sheet at 3rd storied building in Ahirana Mohalla from (1961-1984). It was the most populated Slum area, named as HATA in Kanpur Nagar, U.P. The room was fit for me to face the atrocities of all seasons throughout the year such that it heated up to 40C in the summer season, leakage of rusted water from the roof in the rainy season and affected by cold wave up to temperature 10C in winter season The Kerosene Oil lantern was used for lighting the home and other useful purposes.

My father now changed his place of work and joined as a casual worker in a dyeing House in Artheten West Mills near Anwar Ganj  Railway Station, Kanpur in 1969 which was about 10 km from our home. He used to go on foot to his working place on foot although in his shift duties.  At that time I was a student in IX class in B.N.S.D. Inter College, CHUNNI GANJ, Kanpur which was at a 4 Kms distance from our home.  Accidentally the father was injured in 1971 by Acid bottles which were driven by him with the help of a manual trolley. His both legs were burnt due to the spreading of the Acid. Consequently upon he was admitted to E S I Hospital, Pandu Nagar Hospital, Kanpur for 2 months. At that period I was appearing in the X board examination conducted by U.P. Board Allahabad. The tuition fees of the college for the last 3 months were not paid due to prevailing situations. It was a terrible situation for me to clear the dues even though I got half free tuition. It was a necessary condition for obtaining an admission card for appearing in the 10th board examination in 1971. Ultimately I went to our then-Class Teacher Shri Saliga Ram Gupta with my mother and she explained the whole situation to him. With the grace of God, he understood the whole situation and he arranged to clear the dues and rendered me the Admission Card to appear on the 10th board.  Whatsoever it was the time of adjusting in activities between the earning and in continuing to study further. Finally, I passed the X board with Second with 55%

My  father  was too hard for me to face the prevailing situations." It might be due to his worsening condition in proper nourishment for the dependents. By nature, I  used to write the day-to-day situations in my diary with the sincere prayer to Goddess Saraswati to provide skill to tackle the situations wisely and patiently but it seemed beyond my capacity. I could not control myself but wept to quote one of the situations, which was derived from my old diary. The incident was on the day 13th October 1975. The quote was," The every action of My father was adamant to stagnate my education and try to check my each progressive steps. He thought that I must not study further but support his hand by earning anyway but his desire was not supported by my mother as well as myself. He reacted and stopped to arrange food for eating. He did not order to cook food at home for three days. He ate food in Hotels or anywhere outside the home. I as well as my mother was very hungry. I had 10 rupees earned by tuition. I brought vegetable and wheat flour from the market and arranged to cook food at home. After 3 days I  had no money to spend. I  went to my neighbor Shri Hari Bhajan Yadav and lent thirty rupees from him again bringing necessary food items from the market for 15 days.

3. My LITTLE EFFORT IN HARD DAYS

Finally, I passed the XII board in 1973. Now I started teaching as a wandering private home tutor in 1974 but at nearby my residence. Initially, the Guardians of students exploited me by not giving me proper remunerations because I had no other options. I joined the  Local Typing Institute situated nearby our home for learning English Letter typing @Rs 10 per month.  Simultaneously I got admission to B.Sc. It was so difficult to afford textbooks for the course study. Meanwhile, my parents decided to marry my first younger sister Ch. Suraj Mukhi even though she was 14 years old. I am not in favour of her marriage at this stage. I advised them for not to panic in this situation. I  also gave assurance that I would be able to assist in planning of her marriage after 2 or 3 years. I might be in the position of some financial support with you. Ultimately they did not agree and finalised her marriage on May 1974  without considering my views. I was helpless but they spent total of two thousand rupees on her marriage. On 25th December 1974, my mother gave birth to a female child in form of my younger sister named Ch. Gayatri Devi.

My daily routine was to get up early in the morning at about 3:30 AM  and sat for self study for one and half hour after completing the work the daily routine  . After that I used to go for Home tuition at about 7:00 A.M. to Suther Ganj, Kanpur  I returned back home at about 9:00 A.M. After that  I used to proceed for college and returned home at 4:00 P.M. . One Guardian ( Shri Hari Shanker Dwivedi, Personnel Secretary of G.M. Elgin Mills Cotton Mills, Kanpur) of my Private tuition ward facilitated free teaching of English language Shorthand. Further, I have to go for tuition again and returned 9 P.M . It was the part of my daily routine for many years. After taking some rest, I started self-study up to 11 P: M. I wish to increase my time for self-study but my health and mental conditions did not allow it due to complete tiredness  . Meanwhile, I purchased a second-hand bicycle at the cost of Rupees 95.00 from one of the guardians of the taut of the private tuition.

For utilising my summer vacation of the session 1973-74, I joined Sarvodaya Mandal, Arya Nagar, and Gandhi Shanti  Pratisthan Kendra, Civil Lines. I used to sell the weekly Newspapers Youth For Democracy,   Sarvodaya literature, Novels, Biographies and other books  of Gandhi Ji, Swami Ram Krishna Paramhans, Swami Vivekanand and  Sarvodaya leader  of that time " Jai Prakash Narayan"  Literature inside the premises of District Court, on the footpath of the main road and the  Gate behind the J.K. Temple, Pandu Nagar of the  Kanpur City. I was also an active member of Tarun Shanti Sena stabilised by Saint Vinova Bhave. After imposing an emergency by the Central government during the year 1974, these activities were banned. Now I have to undergo full concentration in completing Graduation. I usually spent almost a full day time for study in Brijendra  Swaroop Park, Arya Nagar, Kanpur. It was full of serene and green surroundings. It was a suitable place for my study in the daytime. But I used to sit for study in corridor light or street light. Thus I passed B.Sc in the year 1976 from Kanpur University, Kanpur, U.P.

4. THE THRESHOLD STAGE

I never forget those people who entered according to the generous management of the almighty, they intervened and act as a pivot in turning the direction of the wheel of my life cart. I heartedly grateful to them and indebt to almighty  God for the creation of media of such people who were not only supported me by praiseworthy words but assisted me by donating books, notebooks, formal and informal dresses and initiated for Scholarship, eligibility of Poor Boys fund and free ships in tuition fees of schools/ colleges. On this occasion, I never forget Mr. G.K. Mishra(Lecturer in Chemistry)Class Teacher of class XII, who not only facilitate assistance in chemistry 1972 but provided me with old practical notebooks from the store chemistry Lab. As these notebooks have one side blank,  I used these for a better way of practice of different subject problems. Mr. I.P. Sood, Lecturer in  Mathematics in Bhartiya Vidyalaya, Kanpur, also provided assistance at a very nominal fee, i.e. @ Rs 20 per month over the year 1973.

The action of sincere and intimate friends, in one's life, plays an important role in the growth and development of one's personality. At this stage, I missed my intimate friend Mr. Brij Raj Shrimali... According to me he understood and felt  the prevailing situations surrounding around us. He was in childhood without his mother. As I felt by interaction with him, he was in a quantum conflict with his stepmother and her belongings. He always supported me in moral, psychological, and financial as allowed under his capacity. I never forget that moment when he supported me by facilitating the amount of value Rs 150.00 which was required at the time of getting admission in the B.Ed year 1976. The amount of money has no importance to me at this time but his action of helping at the particular moment was meaningful and will be repaid never. The action at moment had changed the direction from a darker part to a brighter part of my life.  Now I was in process of searching for him for a better acknowledgment by my spirit. Ultimately I traced him by the electronic social media FACEBOOK. I was filled with an idea of spiritual satisfaction to find him in such a long gap of 43 years. Now I did not wish to miss the opportunities. I decided to interact with him at his native place in district  GONDA, U.P. Now the time has reached and I met him on the 25th of April 2019. It was great pleasure for me that the person is traced through Facebook and messenger of the internet in October 2018.I am very thankful to the person who created the media by which I was able to trace him.

In the continuation in expressing gratitude, I could not forget the help of then Lecturer ( Hindi) Late Shri C. B. Tripathi Ji ( former  MLC, U.P. Government). He induced my XI standard classmates ( November 1972) to contribute collectively to a noble cause to donate a woolen sweater for me in order for providing relief from the cold in winter. He donated a shirt at his office residence (warden) Hostel of BNSD Inter College, Kanpur) in the evening. I pray to almighty God to persist peace his immortal soul at rest and give strength to his belongings to bear the infilling gap and setback.

The turning point in the direction of my life arrived after completing B.Ed in 1977. It is in form of starting good private tuitions but the pattern of teaching was the same in form of reaching wards at their residences. The tuitions were recommended by the then Dr.T.P. Mishra ( Professor, B.Ed Deptt, VSSD College ) Dr. K.N. Sinha (Professor DAV degree College) Kanpur, U.P . and other honourable persons. Now, this was the period of searching the vacancies and applying for those eligible posts. The important  point was to balance amongst personal expenditure, fulfilling of daily needs, preparation of   for competitions, interviews and inappropriate home atmosphere. Meanwhile, I passed my M.A. in Economics in 1979 from Kanpur University privately. Further, I got a private job as a Purchase Assistance in Bharat Electricals ( Manufacturer of Bharat Shakti  Diesel Engine Pumping Set) at Brahma Nagar, Kanpur (U.P.)in June 1980 @ Rs 239.50 per month. Besides the job, I continuously did the private tuition at their homes.

I felt deeply due to such a prevailing situation and found depression due to not finding proper and final solutions to the problems related to personal issues. I took spiritual support by daily narrating the epic Ram Charit Manas composed by  Mahatma Tulsi Das and also regularly visits Lord Shiv temple ( named Anandeswar Shiv Temple) at PARMAT near Green Park Cricket Stadium, Kanpur. Certainly, If was in faith personally the miracles arose due to regular recitation of the epic and attendance to Shiv temple. Now the golden moment came in the month of  June 1981. The blessing moment came by the media of a person ( called him as Chachas means Guardians ) named Honourable Shri Shiva Shanker Tiwari ji and Shri Rama Shanker Tiwari ji.  By the inspiration of God, they sowed the seeds of changing the directions of my lifestyle in the coming future.  They visited the residence at Kanpur of Mr. B.N.Shukla { Principal, Hindalco Higher Secondary School ( known as Aditya Vikram Birla Inter College ), Renukut, Mirzapur, U.P.} and requested to include me for an interview as a candidate. for the post of Maths Teacher. Accordingly, he interviewed and selected me as an ad hock  C.T. Grade Maths Teacher for his school. Meanwhile, My father retired from his job in Feb 1982. Now it became my prime liability to manage my dependent parents to meet their day-to-day needs. So I arranged to send regular 30% to 40% of the my monthly salary for them.

 5. Take Off Period

I served there from 9th July 1981 to 19 July 1984 and got teaching experience for more than 3 years. The school was affiliated with the U.P. Board, Allahabad, and is one of the reputed schools in Mirzapur District (Now it is in Distt Sonbhadra). The students of the school were studious, talented, and disciplined.  The classrooms, library, and laboratories of the school were well equipped and the campus of the school was very attractive.   The atmosphere around the Renukoot place was calm, quiet, and full of greenery  and pollution less city. The famous Hydraulic power station, RIHAND DAM, TURRA  is situated about 3 Km from this place.

During this period I usually applied for the better opportunities as published in the Daily National Newspaper " The Hindustan Times" The event as published in the newspaper dated 15th October 1983, I dispatched an application for the Post of Assistant Teacher in PSU named " National Mineral Development Corporation Ltd (undertaking Government of India, Steel, and Mines Ministry) at KIRANDUL, Distt, DANTEWARA, South BASTAR, CHHATTISGARH. My application was scrutinised for the interview and I received it on the 15th  day of February 1984 . Accordingly, I was interviewed on 29th February 1984 at Bailadila Iron Ore Project, Deposit -14, ( Under N.M.D.C. Ltd ) Kirandul, Dantewara, Chhattisgarh. I was selected there. Ultimately I joined there on 23 July 1984.

The Kirandul place is situated in the southern region of the state. It is 540 Kms apart from Raipur, the capital of State Chhattisgarh.  This remote place is pollution free and surrounded by three states named Orrisa, Maharashtra and Telangana. the range of Bailadila Hills has rich Iron Ore and lush green forest of Bamboo, Wine trees ( Named Shulfi), Shawl and Teak wood, famous KUTUMSER CAVES, CHITRAKOTE WATERFALLS, and TEERATH GARH FALLS. On the way, 640 km long broad-gauge electrified rail section from Kirandul to VIZAG have 61 numbers tunnels and a famous cave named BORRAGUHALU.   Due to being rich in fauna and flora, and having peculiar customs of tribal people, it may become the place of research for the subject of Botany and Sociology. They worship goddess Danteshwari Devi( KUL DEVI ) and they celebrate the custom of the animal Bali Pratha. In the olden days, their ancestors celebrated NAR BALI to please her.  The colloquial languages of local tribal people are Gond and Hubli. They know the mathematics of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division on their fingers even after getting no formal education. They use suitable fauna and flora in treatment of severe diseases. The  tribal life depends on forest products such as Tamarinds, Mangos, cashew nuts, Chironji

                     6-Marital Life

It is said that the marriages are made in heaven and are managed by the controller of the Universe. He again blessed me the medium of the divine person Respected Shiv Shankar Tiwari, then Forman, OFC, Kanpur. I joined with the pious knot of Ch Poonam Agrawal on 19th November 1984 by the grace of  God. My life style was change gradually.  Actually, she belongs to an upper-medium class family with traditional Hindu culture. His father was at the post of Additional Labour Commissioner. I am sorry to say that I am not got due recognition for the side of my father-in-law. I thought it may be due to sub-cost discrimination, difference of social status, and the long gap in economic and living standards between our family and his family and relations.  Anyway She is sweet, supportive and have ethical and spiritual feelings. She had done B.Ed from Kanpur University in 1985.

She gave birth to a male child on 19th July 1986. Now I left our rental room at GWALTOLI, KANPUR, and lived with my wife along with my parents and one younger sister in a residence, i.e. type II Sheet quarter, provided by our Project School, Kirandul. After 1 year and 3 months, my wife gave birth to another male child.

Now I lived with our seven family members in the said residence. Now it was a hard nut to crack to manage the requirement of all members due to single earning members. Meanwhile, it is misfortunate to say that our parents along with our younger sister left us and returned to Kanpur and lived there further. Due to the happening of lack proper nourishment and the gap between our two children , we unwillingly decided to leave our younger son  for some time at  her maternal home for relaxing in such a situation.

She joined as a teacher in a mission school named PRAKASH VIDYALAYA in 1989. Certainely it was a very big support for me. Meanwhile, my father-in-law proposed me for purchasing of a plot at Kalyanpur, Kanpur for residential purposes. He tackled the situation generously and finally he helped in purchasing the plot under the condition that loan would be paid month wise comfortably. He also helped in constructing a room in plot for living with my parents. It was the great sacrifice of my mother in deciding to live and protect the property.

Now I took responsibility for double establishments. On one side I constrained to nourish our family including two children and other side to assist the study of younger sister as well as to manage the daily needs of the family members. My elder sister and her family lived in the rented quarter in Jawaher Nagar, Kanpur at that time. I insisted she lives nearby my residential plot in order to support our parents when they were in need. On approaching her several times by me her family gave consent. Their wards were usually live with our parents and got admission to the nearest schools. I was always ready to pay their fee and arrangement for books and notebooks  under my capacity.  At last, they shifted into my residential plot after 3 months in the year 1997. After sometimes I pursued for purchasing a residential plot for them and finally they purchased a plot of 900 square feet with my  40%  financial assistance.

7. ROLE AS A TEACHER IN PRESENT SCHOOL

Our present school is run under the welfare scheme by management of National Mineral Development Corporation undertaken by the Ministry of Steel and Mines, Government of India. The scenario of my working place was almost not congenial for adequate teaching at the time of joining. Actually, it was full of our political colleagues. Miscreants indulged in creating indiscipline in the whole sector around the school. The whole premises was just like the old Government school. It may be said the building was without boundary, barren campus, and rooms were less infrastructured.  Almost every person associated with the school wished to carry the institution in their own way. In other words it is correct to say that there is no check for shaping the feature of our school children. The staff almost was not feeling about the reputation of the school. The students were also not interested or we might say that they were not motivated for their value-based education.

The school management was not thought about the welfare of the school and ultimately they were also not in favour to run the school. They had onslaught the institution two times, first for opening the Kendriya Vidyalaya and second for favouring the growth of DAV Public School. The strength of the school is continuously in descending trend year wise. In this situations I found between the thoughts of our seniors and juniors colleagues. Now  I decided to create some innovative ideas to work for the allied attractive programs to support the ethics of health education and the discipline of the institution.

First of all , I decided to attract  students of my teaching classes to develop desirable infrastructures  with the help of available resources. I gave an idea to students to decorate laboratories with innovative Science and maths modules . The thought was that the activities would certainly change the present thought process of the concerned people. ( Initially I was strong opposed  by my senior staff )   and provide a stronger platform to implement our idea to related communities . it becomes a base and support for the coming sessions for making static and working models for all subject disciplines. It was the first time the school to organize an exhibition in 1986  with the help of the school administration. The community of students and staff participated enthusiastically and made the programme successful. It was the happiest moment for me and our institution. Now the program was continued for coming sessions. Our Principal of the institution was retired in the year 1988.

At this stage , I participated actively in corporate level programs, such as Kavi Sammelen, Technical Seminars organised by Rajbhasha Cell and  Safety Week, Productivity Week, Environment Week, and Vigilence Week were organized by our Corporation and won prizes at various levels.

I gave an idea of "RAMAN SCIENCE CLUB"  for providing a platform for interaction among  Science students of our institution. I organised various programs such as Organising SCIENCE QUIZ, Displaying SCIENCE DOCUMENTARY, GUEST SCIENCE LECTURES, SCIENCE ESSAYS WRITING COMPITITIONS, ASSEMBLY SPEECHES, etc amongst students with the help of our Science teaching staff. Through the medium of activities, we changed the attitude and thought of the students. I and our science teaching staff now became the famous among the students but due to reactionary forces, I was targeted by our Senior colleagues. Now They were united and instigated students to fail the organised programmes. The new Principal also favoured them. Anyway, I was partially satisfied with the change in the scenario of the institution. Now  I confined myself to develop the student community within my own capacity. Meanwhile, I enrolled as a  Educational Expert for " Student Programmes" as well as "for the Teachers "  in All India Radio, JAGDALPUR. Now I wrote scripts for Science and Maths subjects  and prepared the students for their participation at there. I worked there from 1988 to 1996.

7. SOCIAL LIFE

The  new idea of my thought process flashed for the "Popularising  Science  in  Community around Us" again and it materialized in form of " VIGNAN PARISHAD , Bailadila Chapter, H.O. Prayag, Allahabad (U.P). Now we formed a working committee under the patronage of the General Manager, Bailadila Iron Project, Deposit No 14 (National Mineral Development Corporation Ltd ). The President was Dr S.M.R. Naidu, Principal, Government Degree College, and members were Principals  of different educational institutions, CMO Dr Desh Deepak ,NMDC hospital , veterinary doctor Dr S.N. Pandey , forest officers  of Project and Government Hospitals and Engineers in various disciplines.

This made me for proceeding towards the golden opportunity to provide something for the development in upgrading the status of communities on one side. I, as a secretary, organised several community programmes such as , Wild Life Conservation Week, National Malaria Eradication Programme, National Engineers Day, Environment Conservation Week, National Mathematics Day, National Science Day , Kavi Sammelan, Teacher's Day, Inter School Quiz Competitions, Science Essay Competitions sponsored by our management, LIC of India, Forest Deptt, Madhya Pradesh. The session Lasted with releasing Souvenir, GIGYASHA , on the auspicious occasion of National Science Day.

On another side, a reactionary process developed severe conflicts among our staff as well as in thought of then Principal, Mr. R.C. Trivedi. The Principal totally annoyed and harassed by the act of investigating fault in my day-to-day teaching routine and allied activities. He made frequent transfers from one branch to another branch. The main aim of this action was to sabotage the smooth functioning of the   Council. He formed another council named " HERITAGE INDIA" with the help of  his teaching staff excluding me. Now the supportive staff including Principle were totally indulged to put forth  activities in full swing under the name of their council. Consequently, the Principal and the staff totally deviated from the aim to develop the reputation of the institution in the field of education. The academic performance of the institution was down in forthcoming sessions. Corruption were investigated by the management against  Principal and his supportive staff in certain areas of educational activities. As result, the Principal was terminated in 1996 and some members of the teaching staff were punished by the management. The activities of councils came to their ends.

8.Sad demise of My  father

Now I concentrated on my studies for my sons as well as acquiring higher qualifications for eligibility of  further promotion .  I passed M.Sc (Maths) in 1996 from Pt.Ravi Shanker Shukla University ,Raipur (M.P.). My parents were living with my younger sister  at my registered residential plot at Kalyanpur, Kanpur. My other sister along with her husband and kids also lived there. So they cooperated with each other. I felt tension free from  daily routine incidents on my parents' side.
