The old man came stood in front of John's bike and laughed out loud... “What did you think about me huh? You thought that I was just a crazy old mad man didn't you?” He laughed again “but now, I am sure you have understood what I meant... Look” he pointed out at an empty space “her eyes are not moving away from you... She is with you for a reason, and she will never… ever.. ever leave you” he whispered and jolted across the road... In a hurry John parked his bike and ran behind the old man... “Sir, please tell me clearly, who is that behind me and why?”. “She is behind you because you failed to understand her when she was alive.” he replied...”Who is she? What is she trying to prove now? Please tell me” begged John... “I won't….. very soon… you will know who she is..” he walked further, John sobbed “sir please!!! Help me out…I can't take it anymore!!! I need to know who it is..” but the old man kept walking as if he heard nothing... John's phone started ringing; it was Sandeep... John answered the call Sandeep wished him Good morning and asked “where are you?” John said Sandeep “I saw that old man” again and he told him the whole episode. “Let's talk about this in person John. your manager's car is with me, we’ll talk when I come to your office to return it”. “My bike too is in the office Sandeep, I am going to work in Jency's scooty” replied John. Cool.. I’ll see you soon said Sandeep and hung up.. John searched for the old man again but couldn’t find him anywhere.

John reached office and sat down at his desk, Narayan came sat beside him and enquired “how are you John?”. “I am fine… my friend will be bringing your car in sometime” replied John... No hurry, let him bring it when he finds time. just don't think too much about anything… things will slowly fall in place, you can take leave if you want, relax and come back. I am ok with it. said Narayan... No, I can forget everything only when I keep myself busy, but everything reminds me of Roslyn. Even today I saw that old man, he said "look... her eyes are not moving away from you" I am scared, I am worried”... John received another call from Sandeep, “I am near your office dude” he said “I will come down” replied John... Narayan gave Sandeep's bike key to John... John walked down and gave the key to Sandeep, he parked Narayan's car and asked “why do you still look upset John?”. “I am scared Sandeep, though my heart says Roslyn is alive, my mind is really disturbed and today after meeting that old man I lost it dude”... “Swamiji is ready to come on Sunday, we will get a conclusion for this problem very soon, you stay relaxed and yeah Sean called me in the morning and said this Saturday is Alumni day in our college”... Without any delay John replied “let's go Sandeep every year I go to college hoping Roslyn will come for sure and this year too I will go with the same hope because I know she is safe”... “Even I hope you get to see her once, so that you can leave rest of your life with peace... I will ask Charles to call up Swamiji and come down on Sunday mean while if anything just give me a call he said and left.

After handing over the car key to Narayan John went back to his desk... He opened the draw to take out his laptop and he found his college magazine, he opened it to see Roslyn's photo, looking at her he said “I know you are alive, I strongly believe that, his eyes welled up, controlling his tears he closed the magazine put it back in the draw and to get back concentration he closed his eyes sat down for a minute and started working for the day... John got busy for rest of the day.

It was 6 pm, John saw people leaving for the day... He remembered Jency, he didn't even call her after reaching office, he too packed his stuff and left for the day... Liya and Ziya were happy to see their father reaching home early, they both gave a peck on their dad's cheeks, John too lovingly kissed them back and asked “where is your mom?”. “She is in the room” replied Ziya. “Ok you both go play I will freshen up and come” said John... He walked into his room and saw Jency sitting in the dark room, John switched on the light, she didn't even look at him, he sat beside her and asked “are you still upset with me?”. “No, I was scared”, she looked deep into his eyes and said “I was scared I thought you would come home drunk even today”... “I am sorry Jency, it's upto you to trust me or not but I will definitely not repeat this again”... “Let's see”…. said Jency and walked out of the room.

John changed, walked into the washroom to freshen up... As he splashed water on his face he looked at the mirror and said "hey, I know you are here… show me who you are, Narayan says it's Roslyn how can it be?" Answer my question!! I can't take this torture anymore!!” He demanded. “Tell me who you are?” when John did not get any response, he took a blade in his hand and said “ I might not know who you are, for sure I know you care for me a lot.. if you don't show me who you are I am gonna hurt myself, he said placing the blade on his wrist. John saw the mirror in front of him slowly fogging up.. he started panicking… his heart beating out of his chest.. he brought his shivering hands up to the mirror to wipe off the fog that appeared out of nowhere… as he wiped down the mirror, he saw a misty form behind him wearing pink dress with long open hair.
